Excuse me? Why would i not believe them, when they are telling for years there will be 2 teams, PoE1 wont be affected (bc theres 2 teams), and they wouldnt do PoE1 dirty. I had TRUST in them. I had no reason to believe they would not keep their promises. They CHOSE to abandon PoE1. They couldve had a handful of devs on PoE1. There was no need to put 100% of your Ressources into an EARLY ACCESS title. They couldve kept developing PoE1 Leagues and cash in the league supporter packs as always. "PoE2 is the superior game, let PoE1 die! PoE2 has far bigger numbers!" Did you consider that 100% of all big time spenders were on PoE1? Do you really believe the majority of people will be supporting PoE2 like people have PoE1? I for one have no interest in further supporting these kinds of actions. Time will tell how everything will go down. But they just threw over a decade of trust and good will into the garbage for literally no reason at all. |

" tencent. they saw numbers. they told 'fk poe1, poe2 is 5 times more popular'. ggg obeyed. there's no any other reason for shit like this to happen. ggg doesnt have internal reasons to push poe2 with every dev they own, especially after hype ended and they realised that a lot of people dont like new game concept. tell me again that selling ggg to tencent will change nothing. I honestly feel betrayed and i fear GGG's credibility skyrocketed downwards. Poe2 has failed.
The vision is just not what the players want but the devs are dying on that hill. They're going down a path of self destruction trying to salvage the youngest child's life while completly disregarding the oldest. What a shitshow this has become. " Bro, tell me what youre on, I want some too. The best they can is not enough nor is it an excuse. They promised something, they did not deliver. There were so many better ways of handling this whole charade but they chose the ONE option that doesnt impact poe2 playercount, which is completely disregarding poe1 until poe2 starts to float by itself. I know a handful of people that bought the $500 supporter pack specifically to encourage GGG who had a good record of listening to the player base and making the right decisions when they specifically said that Poe1 WILL NOT BE IMPACTED by Poe2, but guess what. Without poe1 and the support this indie game company received over the years from the *ahem* POE 1 PLAYERS, poe2 would still have been a dream. So yeah, we are entitled to a poe1 league. |
