A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

"Message for poe 1 players" like we are not even your playerbase wtf lol

Well, I guess whats happening is GGG turns into Activision Blizzard. I always laughed at blizzard fanboys who ate horrendous content and huffed copium every single time. I wont be one of those guys.

Its a awful move GGG. I played this game since closed beta and I love it so much. I never was the guy who bothered by balance changes, harvest etc, but this is not in-game issue, its a company-customer issue, and people never should eat that. I wont play your games and talk about them in good light until your direction changed.

People who dont like this can affect such things. Recent Unity situation shows that. But its just a game and people lifes dont depend on it so I doubt it
You don't have to explain yourself. You have a business thats take it it or leave it.
There is enough business in PoE 2 to last until PoE 3.

People just cant let go of a virtual existance and its time they learned things come to an end. mThey are whinning because their Uber characters cant get out there anymore. Tough. Its just a game!

Imagine withelding key info to sell more EA supporter packs, to people who were willing to try PoE 2 to bridge the gap to 3.26 and then at the time for announcement of next league tell your core playerbase "Sorry we ain't ready for another 4-6 months and we knew it since at least end of November."
Also Izaro quote at the end is not cute or funny GGG, that is an insult to injury so here is another one:

"The essence of an empire must be shared equally amongst all of its citizens."

Except no Empire has ever been built because of Citizens.

Sounds good to me. Poe2 the superior game by far. Hard to go back after that.
Why is so hard to re add old leagues we had? add something while you working on new.. its so much to ask?
Things happen and plans change. As long as the studio gets things back on track things will buff out. I understand people are gunna be upset but reading some of the comments makes me think some of them need some serious therapy. End of the day it's pixels on a screen, we can wait. I don't think anyone who's played continuously updated titles expected this to go smoothly, it damn near never does. Both games are in states that are a million times better than anything the other ARPGS are offering right now so let's be a little grateful for once. If they get to a point where were getting the simultaneous updates for each game nice, if not wtv move on. Whining or complaining isn't gunna make them work any faster. Thank you guys for the communication, 90% of devs can't do this as a bare minimum.
I dislike poe2, hence I'm waiting for new poe1 league and I've been let down once again. This is all PR stuff that Jonathan is saying. The reality is you guys prioritize poe2 and that's okay, but you just lost one insignifant player here. Good luck.
I just read a comment on how GGG is a standard. What f'n standard? They are turning to Blizzard.

After years and years of playing, spending money on mtx, stashes, supported packs (to invest in something we love) we got slap in the face because, let's be honest, they don't give a rat's ass for poe1 community.

And this todays apology doesn't mean anything. Trying to extinguish a fire with oil. Literally admitting that they've been lying this whole time and 3.26 wouldn't have been launched at all.

Sincerely, Jonathan should just step down and go coding instead of trying to fit shoes too big for him. Give us our favorite baldy back!

Honestly, wish the poe2 development go down in flames as they didn't deserve nothing more. They don't deserve community they have - community they build over a decade. That community just got a slap in the face. I wonder how many of us will stay to see GGG advancement. I know who won't.

People can say all they want but the devs delivered an honest apology.
They have my respect and confidence.

GGG will always be an industry's standard.

This isn't transparency or an honest apology - it's textbook damage control.

True transparency would have meant disclosing these issues when they were first discovered, not after the fact. A genuine apology should include concrete steps to address these mistakes.

The non-committal and vague language throughout is concerning. I'm disappointed, both with the indefinite delay and how this entire situation has been handled.
