A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

oopsie twice; okay understandable, hope you learn on your mistakes!
but now you abandoned your core game and waited until late january to say you didn't even started developing new expansion? Is it a joke? It might be, since you explain whole situation by saying you didn't expect that taking devs responsible for poe1 to develop poe2 will delay poe1.

As always Jonathan, thank you for your excellent communication and transparency. Personally, I feel you made the right decision to support POE 2 when it needed it and have very much enjoyed playing it so far. When the team is ready and able to move back to supporting POE 1 I look forward to that as well. It's got to be very challenging navigating this busy transition period. I support you and thank you for all the hours of gameplay I've enjoyed so far.

Who could have ever seen this all coming. Oh wait... I've made several posts in the past expressing my concern of just getting POE 1 leagues out in time with minimal bugs. That could barely be accomplished it seemed as there has always been so many bugs with new leagues that bugs from the past still haven't been addressed. Now there are two games to work on? Explains a lot. Oh well. if it's good I'll play... if it's not (like POE2 currently feels for me) then I won't play it.

It is the same story now. "You make zero mistakes only when you do nothing".
GGG knows what they are doing (or at least what to do to follow their plans - if I will like it, that's another story ;p), they seem to be doing the right thing to correct mistakes (hey, they have 2 games to support now and that's a lot of work), and in a year or two people will be like "OMG PoE1/2 BEST GAMES EVER" again.

Keep up the good work, a lot of respect for you for direct and honest communication. I will for sure spend some money on PoE1/2 in the future, just to show my appreciation.

You seem like you just joined for poe2. GGG after archnemesis have completely NO IDEA what they are doing, archnemesis is hands down biggest fall in the game and they keep double downing on it. Rare and drop change was insanely bad decision that no one followed but they keep double downing. Nerf everything expedition expansion - one of the worst patches ever and they keep double downing. You have clearly no idea what you are saying about poe1 and you try to write meanwhile having no idea what poe1 was and is. Go play your diablolike poe2 and never comeback

this is disrespectful to the poe1 base players, in the past this was where there would be no problem as the teams were different and would continue working in parallel! Then you come with these videos of yours apologizing and giving false transparency, because on several occasions they said something and went back to it!

So be ashamed and don't consider information or deadlines that you don't have the capacity to meet! Just get quiet and get the job done, and deliver when you're ready! because apologizing for not being able to fulfill what they promised does not exempt the lack of commitment!

That said... POE 2 is very easy, it's broken, and the way it was made there's no way to solve it! the scalability of the end game is very bad compared to poe1, it has no depth! poe 2 like d4 ...give us back our beloved poe seasons!
