Trials are not fun
" But man, finaly! Finaly there is an activity in PoE which needs thinking and planning. That's why I loved Incursions and Syndicate in PoE 1 - bacause it needed thinking and planning. Running thru everything, mashing one button and playing flask piano was kinda fun but I can play that with my brain shut down and that is not what I enjoy the most. " It's a bit of both and it depends on the build a lot, too. Doing 3-floor ToS with proper relics and defenses is definitely manageable if RNG doesn't screw you too much and maybe you're just a lucky bastard. A guildmate of mine has already found 3 perfect jeweller's orbs with his one and only character and he's barely started doing T15s. I have my third character in endgame and I haven't found even one. However, the main problems persist: RNG can and will screw you over eventually and the honour system favours ranged builds over others and both of those mechanics should have no place in an ascendancy trial. |
