Trials are not fun

I'm ( no longer ) one of the people arguing that Sekhema is the worst thing evar : other than these 2 runs i talked about all the runs i did with my endgame build have been zero difficulty speed-farming . But yes i still believe Sekhema is too RNG dependent and you need too much preparation to farm it .

But man, finaly! Finaly there is an activity in PoE which needs thinking and planning. That's why I loved Incursions and Syndicate in PoE 1 - bacause it needed thinking and planning. Running thru everything, mashing one button and playing flask piano was kinda fun but I can play that with my brain shut down and that is not what I enjoy the most.

I understand that sometimes you can have bad luck but people act like all of their runs are bad or extremely difficult while my experience is completely opposite so either I'm super lucky or I learned how to play trials.

It's a bit of both and it depends on the build a lot, too. Doing 3-floor ToS with proper relics and defenses is definitely manageable if RNG doesn't screw you too much and maybe you're just a lucky bastard. A guildmate of mine has already found 3 perfect jeweller's orbs with his one and only character and he's barely started doing T15s. I have my third character in endgame and I haven't found even one.

However, the main problems persist: RNG can and will screw you over eventually and the honour system favours ranged builds over others and both of those mechanics should have no place in an ascendancy trial.
