How many people played poe1 before this came out. I think you definition of outnumbered is probably the vast minority of the current player base. Most just get bored and leave, they don't go through forums. I hope you don't ruin the game by deffending it and leading to the poe1 playerbase numbers. Nobody benefits from that

Well, the game is what it is.

3-4 montnhs League resets and new supporter packs are the business model, that wont change.

Dark Souls and Elden Rings are B2P single player games without no microtransactions, POE is free to play ARPG with microtransactions and 580$ supporter packs. Comparing POE to Souls Like games make no sense, those games are nothing alike. Even Overwatch is better comparison.

Im not comparing. Im pointing out the ridiculousness of someone saying that only MMORPG creates new content. I have never noticed this. All good games create extentions and extra content, it's a business thing. I dont get why that argument is even taken serious as its complete bs.

New content and expansions isn't even remotely related to a single genre.

My local fish and chip shop expanded to a new city. Its not an MMORPG.

Could you please provide specific examples of live-service games you're referring to, aside from MMORPGs? I'm particularly interested in games that players can invest tens of thousands of hours into.

However, these games must be free-to-play, with all content and DLCs also available for free. Additionally, they should have no pay-to-win elements in microtransactions, such as boosts, unlockable features, or similar advantages.

I’m really curious about the list of games you’ll share with us.

As for Elden Ring, which you already mentioned, it had only one DLC in 2–3 years. In my opinion, it doesn’t offer the replayability or build diversity required for 10,000 hours of gameplay. It’s primarily a single-player experience designed for one main playthrough, whereas games like Path of Exile are built for an unlimited amount of replayability.

People are quick to forget this is the "base" game. It will have features, including endgame content added as each League (season) happens. Early Access is to get the base game ready. Let's focus on that, and the additional stuff will come.
I just watched the Early Access POE2 reveal stream: they presented the endgame like the best thing since sliced bread, didn't say anything about it being "placeholder". Anyone that uses "placeholder" on anything beside cruel acts in the campaign is just a shill.
