Solution to the mass bot spam:

I'm sure we all know the bot spam has become horrendous. It doesn't matter if you are active in chat or not; they will mass PM you. It's not 1 at a time either, you get 2-3 from the same websites PMing at a time.

A solution to this: Make it so you have to complete act 1 to unlock Global chat and PM chat (outside of friends and parties). If they are on your friends list or in a party you can still talk/message as normal. If you have 1 character on your account that is past act 1, then ALL characters are unlocked.

Once an account surpasses a certain age these restrictions can be lifted. aka once an account is 1 year old.

If trade is a concern i'm sure there is ways they can make trade messages still function. Once in a party you can talk freely with someone.

When this game becomes free, this problem is going to get much, much worse. It NEEDS addressed.

Supposedly they hired a bunch of people to that team within the past month, so they are addressing it.

I don't get any spam (if it's a PM I classify it as harassment) while I'm playing on my SSF, so I am wondering just now if they grab people's names who are online and have items on the market?
