The issue's I have personally with trade is that the economy soon gets out of hand and items become exponentially more expensive as time goes on.

That's only true for certain chase items and for no dead roll top tier rares.

Anything that isn't perfect becomes worth 10ex barely worth the hassle of selling, a +4 wand? Trash because not +5.

This has been a problem in PoE1 as well and has little to do with the trade system itself. The game saturates the economy with 'good' gear that tanks in price while 'great' gear remains rare and skyrockets as the remaining players are mostly rich juicers who are sitting on 50d+ and already have very good gear with little upgrade potential - and willing to pay for it.

I also think your stance on the idea of killing T4 bosses with self crafted gear in 100h is not in line with the goals of GGG for PoE 2.

100h is perfectly reasonable for a seasoned player to do that. If you consider that the best players in the world for PoE1 can do 1 to 95 and kill the uber bosses in ~40 hours on SSF HC with even harder private server mods, for an average player to do the same in 100 hours in softcore with the ability to buy items I think is perfectly reasonable.

The best thing about all the threads regarding issue with Trade is the SSF crowd piling in like a bunch of missionaries to convert the traders to the way of SSF.

You see less zealotry in Vaal cultists...

I think you and I have very different ideas of what the "average" player in PoE looks like. The average player in PoE 2 it appears is complaining about dying in maps and waystone sustain in PoE 2.

In PoE the average player complained about never getting a 6L that wasn't a corrupted junker and being unable to do the lab.

Hello friend, I see that your eyes are opened. Did you ever think about walking the Path of SSF?

Then I will clarify my statement a little more for you, when I say average player, I am not talking about Joe Schmo who struggles in white maps and quits before getting to end game.

I am talking about the seasoned players who know the game well, know how to make a build, know how to craft (in poe1, poe2 doesn't have crafting, just gamba)

The sort of people that can play the game casually, but still are capable of killing T4 bosses in a reasonable amount of time.

Brother, I have sinned so much, I do not know if I can walk the path of redemption. Just today, I traded again, it was so shameful, in fact as we speak, I am online to list my wares for the fellow sinners - I cannot stop. I don't know how!

I can't help but feel like more divines will fill this emptiness in my soul but yet with every trade my lust for loot grows and I cannot control myself - that 74% Ingenuity isn't good enough anymore - path of building said I could get over 4k mana just with a 76% and so I sin...

Worst of all - today I sold a pair of boots for 2 divines and then got another message, I told them it was sold - and they said they'll pay 4 divines....but I had sold them! Was this a taunt from the divine itself? What purpose was there except to inflict anguish on me?! Was it not punishment enough to know that I had committed the act of sin by trading - but worse yet sold purity of soul for less than it was worth?!!
This is how the trading is.
It's extremely tedious and a complete waste of time.

They just need to make it automated.

The trading now is also damn expensive, quarterstaffs I could trade for last week for 30 exalts now cost 15 divines.

And crafting these items is even more tedious than trading for them, the rng is to strong.
There are a lot of price fix offers to distort the market / scam people. There are also many trolls in the higher price segment. Since this is completely without consequences, normal players are just ******.
