but at the same time i would like to have easy buy out. i was playing on my alt last night with my warrior and stuck on the trials of chaos. the beastlord keep play hide and seek with me with all his chip damage. his damage is quite pathetic but as he keep fly off after shooting aoe. i can't do much damage at him either (he immediately fly off after i land one attack). after like 20mins depleted my flask and i died.
so i try to buy spirit orb to get Time of Need, but i end up PM 20 people over 1 hour to finally get one response which tbh very frustrating.
p.s. the Time of Need solved my issues as the Beastlord just simply don't engage in combat, my gem out heal his damage and i never used flask whole fight...

The only way to beat this is if when you are listing an item it shows you all the other items close to yours. Maybe even gives you a warning, "You are listing this item for 18,000% cheaper than the next person"
Otherwise the bots will be scalping all the cheap items and making 5k divs a week.
This is how it works in EVE online.
Yeah good luck in doing that in POE where the value of an item is massively dependant on the rolls, corruptions etc. It works on the currency exchange where nothing has stats, it's never going to work on an item AH since there are too many variables on what determines to worth of an item to accurately price check them.

when you lay out your experience. it allow made it more clear why it is good idea to have than simply demand it. it sound less like whining

i am a bit 50/50 on this, on one hand it make us very convenient to do trading. but on the other hands i felt it allow bot to scrap all valuables items automatically.
like currency exchange, it can be easily manipulate and inflated divine orb price
"auction house" supposes you can also have bid only, actual auctions. not usual for commodity items, but we have a ton of things that aren't, like rares, so you can have bidding. can't snap that up. and yes, there is last second sniping, just don't publish exact times.

Um, GGG is on record AGAINST easy trade. they don't even like crafting much, the kind where you know what will happen. in poe 1 there's a bench with a certain number of recipes, but you can only do one cheaply or up to 2 expensively.
you can absolutely do SSF, or better ruthless, and not trade at all. we can all have nice things.
