I'm done until GGG fixes sttutering and performance and I'm going to D4.
" I have Asus Scar 18 2024 — I9 14900 64GB ram 4090, and i have huge performance problem. In town i have 60-80 fps on LOW settings, on map sometimes 200fps, but when the fight starts FPS dropped till 100, when i kill the yellow mob with killing blow effect FPS dropped till 30-40. When i play with my friend Witch with her fire walls with sculls in battles FPS dropped til 20-30. Ive tried EVERYTHING! Vulcan, DX12, DX11, all settings, changed power supply mod to performance mod in Windows, downgraded 24H2 to 23H2. Change sound settings to LOW etc. But nothing happened. Seems when the are a lot of effects on screen my system cant work with it. However i setup LOW settings and 2K and i dont have any troubles in other games. As i know, im not the only 1 who have such problem with good hardware. This latter ive sent to GGG support 3 days ago. Trust me, im really tried EVERYTING from this forum, steam, redit etc. |

Even with the stutering and performance it is still more fun than diablo 4. Also this is an early access sir.

" Watch out bro! You'll hurt fanboys feelings like I did, seemly. We can't feedback in something we PAID for, and if we do, need to be in fanboys terms. hehe Anyway, "get a better pc" lol. (you got it is sarcasm right?) ((need to leave it here so anyone that reads it maybe will get it too). Just one more map!

" I think this is something related to personal preferences, right? So both can be fun. Don't get me wrong, I love POE 1 & 2, but the way it is, maybe if we wait another 10 years things will get better. Of course, the right thing to do is just put your head down and wait. You're probably right, after all, it is early access! Just one more map!

" Unless we push for it, they won't do it. Look at PoE 1. The optimization there is a complete joke. The game looks bad, runs bad, and they did nothing for over 10 years. |

I did the loops, as most of us have, in regard to chasing better game performance. My partner games next to me on an identical PC but has never had the PoE2 crash problems my PC has. If you have 2 identical computers next to each other, running the same game, and one crashes a lot and the other doesn't, you have a great parallel for eliminating options.
After a LOT of nightmare crashing, 30+ per day during holiday for a week, I couldn't imagine finding the one alteration I could make to my PC that would stop that uncomfortable game killing experience, crashing. For me, it was entering my BIOS, which was all new to me, and 'disable' the Turbo Boost. It's not labelled Turbo Boost in every BIOS. It's the switch in BIOS that disables or enables system permission for rapidly ramping up the speed of the processor, even if that means you constantly get ramped right into speeds that crash your game, and often the whole system. There is no comfort in the unfamiliar.
There is no adventure in the familiar. |

Try lossless scaling (can get it in steam).
This thing is legit download fps. Recently i got 165hz monitor, but my specs not that good to have consistent 165fps, its 5700x3d and rx6800. Lossless scaling is basically like dlss/fsr but kinda better? It goes from 2x all the way to 20x frame gen, higher number - more visual bugs. So i basically lock fps in game at 55fps, turn lossless scaling at 3x mode, get 165fps almost in any situation, while pc consume about same amount of power as if it was 55fps with no frame gen. At 3x there's very little visual bugs, which you can notice when you standing in ho and let's say turning character around and look really closely.
