Does anyone like Chaos orbs?

I only use them on maps. Changing anyhting on items is never worth it.

ONly bricked items. Never got a good mod with it.

I don't like them because I think I know why they work the way they work.
I don't remember how many times I've used them but I only got one good result which changed a bad tier life regen to a high tier life mod on a ring. Every other time it either changed bad for bad or good for bad.

My guess is they removed alts and changed chaos orbs to force grinding for bases and using the 'recombinator lite' instead of having free rolls with alts and chaos to have a more controlled outcome.
Same reason, probably, why essences don't guarantee high tier mods either.

Chaos orbs are trash, but they are only trash because you NEED all the omens from Ritual in order to actually do any sort of crafting, and the major issue with omens is all the ones that make crafting viable are 10+ divines each. So unless you have a bottomless pit of currency, orbs of any kind not just chaos feel really really bad.

chaos orbs are great! i sell them and get lots of exalts so i can actually buy an item worth buying

i'll let others piss the currency away. i'll turn my stuff to usable currency then use it wisely instead
