POE2 Ruthless Mode PLEASE!
Come on folks, the ruthless player base's enjoyment of masochism mode doesn't affect the rest of us in any way. Let them have their fun knowing it has no impact whatsoever on your own fun.
+1 to adding PoE2 ruthless, ruthless ssf, and ruthless ssf hc. I might even try it myself sometime. |

First of all I will say that I'm absolutely loving PoE 2, it could very well become my #1 favorite game of all time!
That being said, I would love a ruthless mode! So far I played through the campaign on HCSSF and exploring the endgame. In PoE 1 I played HCSSF on Ruthless and I loved the excitement of finding a really impactful upgrade. Especially finding skill and support gems was so much more exciting and impactful. In PoE 2 right now I'm swimming in uncut skill and support gems. I don't understand the alleged elitism around ruthless as that has nothing to do with it. The reason I enjoy it is because the limitations inspire me to be creative about how to build a character around the gems and gear I happen to find. Essentially it's: #1 "How can I build my character best around the things I happen to find" Instead of #2 "I want to play this particular build so I'm looking for these specific items" The people that want to do #2 already have their game mode and it makes sense they don't want ruthless because technically they could do #2 in ruthless but it would require much more grinding. But it's not about grinding for me, it's about the added level of creativity necessary to succeed with limited resources and the added excitement of finding something powerful that I can build around :) |

" I felt this in the campaign, it felt like killing a boss in Dark Souls. I don't feel anything in the endgame. I really wish the late game was more like the campaign. |

+1
Also, showing numbers from PoE 1 ruthless is pointless, it's a crudely cut version without the gameplay depth to carry it. Here it would be the intended mode with mechanics built for it. " You have 0 understanding of why people play hard, punishing games and hardcore modes. The harder it is, and the more you have to loose, the more exciting it gets. There is nothing in gaming like entering an unknown area with one life and everything turned against you. I'd rather not finish a game and have that, than finish it all on normal modes. For me it's people like you, watching numbers go up and running through games who waste time on banal gameplay and tourist playthroughs. I have kids, may have an hour of time a day and I will still play hardcore, or no load strategy game or whatever. It's a journey, not a destination. " 100% does. less loot = less dice rolls for gear/power progression |

literally dont care either way +1 for those who want it
my ONLY request is that they design ruthless in such a way that its balanced off the core game mode changes so that they dont have to constantly work SPECIFICALLY on ruthless rather it simply scales and requires hands on work only for special situations. Innocence forgives you
