If you would have said that your account was shared and someone else piloted it to top HC you would have been banned for sure...But you are technically a nobody for GGG and the world and poor so :)
Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.
who care?
We are in EA, and a lot other stuff have to be done.
Assuming that the current ToS were written in a strict manner that "rules must be applied without exceptions", if we were given the opportunity to revise the ToS, what would you propose?

edit
When the ToS set by a private company crosses into areas defined by statute, the very abuse of the rules that you are referring occurs.

edit 2

Aren't you trying to vilify the very person who are saying "fuck off" about such "trivial" things?

edit 3

In that case, would you like to see GGG as a plaintiff or a defendant? If both, what outcome would you like to see ?

edit 4

Can we create an internet meme that will surpass his existence?

edit 5

Do I sound like a bishop?

So now billionaires can buy their way to the top of the HC ladder as a vanity project like owning a football club, are the TOS not being enforced even when openly broken? (Like accounts being played while the account owner is literally standing on live TV at the same time?)

Are there any comments from GGG regarding this? Maybe in EA it's not a high priority, or it's garnering too much free press, but as a long time supporter, this is a massive blow to the credibility of RMT enforcement.

I'm not trying to shitpost or troll with this, I'm just extremely disappointed that GGG isn't getting out the ban hammer.

Anyone else feel this is undermining the integrity of the game?

Thanks

i mean, i don't respect billionaires just for buying things, or for much of anything other than giving away their fortunes and working for an actual common good, which isn't most of them.

his hardcoreness only bought ridicule anyway. the funniest thing about it that i didn't know was that he ever believably claimed to have prowess in diablo4, with some speedrun, and that people actually believed him.

if i ever at any point was cheating in game with any level of a competition, got caught, at minimum, id see the ban hammer coming. i dont understand why theres a problem when someone popular cheats. people try to blur the picture, find excuses.
i understand ToS is not a law, meaning there is no strict mechanism in action here and its a tough call for GGG. nonetheless id love to see them play the same rulebook as we are, because if GGG will stop to care, many others will follow.

he did break TOS and now if they hold true to the company i came to have faith in he will be banned and life time based off his status and expectation of honorable conduct. if not they will lose a customer for life i don't like double standards

ban elon now imo
RMT not just against TOS. It against the law.
But boosting for ingame currency is not against anything. Except morally wrong,
Does not matter in poe2 since there is no multiplayer due to game mechanics and performance. But in online games boosting just fills up the group finders with a unch of noobs who have no idea how to play because someone else plays the game for them.

it's only "illegal" in certain countries far as I'm aware. That isn't a universal thing. Typically it is just a ToS thing, and limited to them taking action against your account for that companies stuff.

And yeah, RMT is pretty out of control right now. I've had people openly admit to it since PoE2 came out (some years before then.. but that's another story). They are all still playing the game. I can only think of one that I'm aware of that had action taken against their account in any capacity.

I have to wonder if Tencent getting more and more control of the company has resulted in some sort of cutbacks as time goes on.
