PoE 1 new league when?

I have only been playing POE2 because I am waiting for POE1.

POE2 is absolutely infuriating (the high price of death). I cant chill and relax playing POE2.

Please give us a new POE1 league...
I do hope they don't abandon PoE 1, as I can easily see this as being a Guild Wars situation where nobody actually likes the sequel compared to the first game, but the company doubles down all the way to fairy tale land...

But the concept of leagues has always been weird to me in an ARPG. The whole point of this kind of game is to build up a character. Why would anyone want to reset forcibly? You can already just start a new character anyway, in Standard. Why force it on everyone? Why do people flock to this??? It's so weird, I'll never get it.
Fresh economy is Huge. I do enjoy standard. But, i will start out for a month or two in league first (depending on how much I like it) and then swap to playing more casually in standard after
Hmm, maybe I'm underestimating what a fresh economy does for item prices.

In Standard, everything is dealt in Divines only. The most basic thing is at least 1 Divine. Tri res boots might be 50 Divine, lmao.

Maybe that's BECAUSE it's Standard. Hmmmm... Have I, in fact, been playing on hard mode???

What would cost you 5 divs week 1 in league is likely literally 50 times that in standard. Also, keep in mind that there is a very active economy. You can sell things much easier, buy things much easier. There is more variety of items available...

A fresh economy is just huge

Oh its huge man! The fact that some items may be extremely cheap because no one is playing a particular build is great, or vice versa.
On top of that, Standard has the problem of the amount of players that play it. Because there is fewer people there, most of the times the prices go up.
I enjoyed Standard from time to time, but it is kinda a waste for me sometimes because there is nothing new and exciting like fighting the new league bosses or stuff like that.

I guess that is why Standard exists right. The concept of a League or Season already comes with a lot of balancing and new content, and that is obviously going to affect the market, so I guess that doing a complete restart of everything helps the economy to balance out.
On top of that, for me at least, is something super fun. Being able to start from zero, new starter, new items, new economy, new projects. At least for me is something really cool to look forward.
Ok I know PoE2 need too mutch work rn. And dont have time to make a new league, we understand it. (mostly)

But than why we can't get a good and interesting event that's everyone likes, like Affliction or Crucible, those don't need too mutch work. Or start a shorter boss event (it was maihem i think) or endless delve or something.

They just think poe 1 community is throw away stuff that don't even worth to deploy a skeleton crew. Back to 2.6 there is a lot of events even 2.6 was born due to the delay of 3.0 public release

Just like they treat mac (like bugged since start of 3.25 and unsure it is a false promise or not for a poe 2 mac release), or "unpopular" bug that does not affect many players.
