Atlas will not load

My atlas will not update on areas I’ve already completed. Thus I cannot explore the map to determine my next best direction. In other words, when I “mouse” over an area I’ve already completed (back tracking) the fog will not lift. I’m not sure why the fog is there considering I’ve already completed that portion. I’m talking about a large giant portion to.

Also the short cuts for home do not work. The one for the monolith will work and the at last reveals itself then but if I click home only it takes me to fog.
