At the very least, a buyout option for fixed price trade site items. You pay gold + currency direct from your inventory or stash when you click buy, item goes to Alva, you pick it up. Currency goes to seller's Alva, they pick it up. Simple, secure, doesn't devalue premium tabs. Everyone doomed for months about the currency exchange, but guess what? It was a great idea and now currency prices are more stable than ever in PoE1. A lot of the complaints about loot could be fixed up by improving trade accessibility. Just make sure to scale gold costs high enough that you don't want to be buying whole sets of gear at once.
Or, if you wanna get real fancy, drop "trade tickets" in maps (or have some other way of getting them) that can be used instead of gold and can't be traded, so you can control the availability even more tightly. Seriously, there is no reason not to do this except enabling price fixers. You don't even have to remove the other system, just add another one on top like the CE. |

+1 on either an auction house or simply a “buy now” option.
For a simple starting point, they could make the buy now option opt-in by the sellers. I’m sure the QoL would take off for the selling side, since plenty of them also don’t like having their mapping interrupted |
