What the hell is a visage?!


To us, Visage represents expression—a reflection of who we are as gamers. Path of Exile, with its vast sandbox-like design, serves as the ultimate canvas for our passion for RPG gaming and personalization. It’s a place where creativity meets strategy, allowing us to bring our unique visions to life.

Visage is a Path of Exile guild established in 2019, spanning both Path of Exile 1 and 2. Our mission is to foster a community of like-minded players who collaborate, share in-game knowledge, and pursue shared goals. By coming together, we aim to elevate the gaming experience for everyone, turning individual journeys into something truly exceptional.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a laid-back, no-pressure atmosphere—there’s no "You must be online every day" rule here. Ours is a "join at your pace" kind of guild: casual, relaxed, yet undeniably efficient. As the Guild Master, I take care to recruit players who demonstrate genuine interest and who can benefit from the wealth of knowledge and experience we've amassed over the years. We’re a collective, a team, where everyone’s contributions matter. Many of us bring backgrounds from World of Warcraft raiding or other gaming experiences, adding diverse perspectives and skills to our group.


♦️WHY SHOULD I JOIN A GUILD?♦️

Joining a guild in Path of Exile comes with numerous benefits. One of the key advantages is access to shared stash tabs (and we’re expanding them as our guild grows). These tabs allow us to share gear across members for various purposes, such as leveling, speed runs, mapping, support, and more. It also fosters networking and collaboration across different goals and playstyles. Some of our members focus on trading, while others prefer mapping—these shared resources and features significantly enhance the experience for everyone involved. We aim to balance efficiency with fun, ensuring that everyone enjoys their time with us.

We also have members who primarily play solo but still take advantage of the guild bank, borrowing gear or trading with others as needed.

♦️WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT♦️

Many of our members enjoy playing both Standard and League simultaneously. One practice we encourage is the creation of an alt character during the league. These alts can serve various support roles—whether as an aurabot, managuardian, cursebot, crybot, or more. Having a dedicated support alt allows for easy team mapping sessions, providing flexibility and efficiency. If you’ve never played a support role before, don’t worry! We’ll show you the ropes. Many support builds are surprisingly inexpensive to gear up and don’t require "mirror-tier" investments to be effective in our guild activities. Personally, I always farm Legion because I’m passionate about it, which not only allows me to level my characters to 100 with ease but also brings guildmates along for the ride.

♦️REQUIREMENTS♦️

We prefer members to be 18+ based on our experience, as it typically results in fewer dramas and issues. While having Discord and a microphone isn’t mandatory, it certainly adds to the experience and is highly encouraged. If you plan on being away for an extended period (30+ days), please let us know so we don’t mistakenly assume you’ve quit and fill your spot. Communication is key to keeping everything running smoothly.👌🏼

As a member of our community, you represent us as a whole. We do not support or condone any activities that violate GGG's terms of service, such as RMT or cheating. If you are found participating in any activities deemed unacceptable, you will be removed from the guild and blacklisted. This may include being added to blacklists from other communities as well. We have a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior.

Many of us are deeply invested in this game, with some having spent thousands of dollars on MTX to support its growth and continued success. We cannot afford to have anyone jeopardizing that. While this should go without saying, I want to make it clear for everyone’s understanding.

♦️TLDR COOL STORY BRO, WHAT ABOUT THE GUILD BANK?♦️

We have several premium tabs with established affinities, as well as a quad tab for easy sorting. Currently, we’re looking for individuals who specialize in trading, and I’m personally seeking someone to help manage the bank system across both League and Standard.

To support our members, we allocate currency proceeds from the guild bank to assist with acquiring chase items or other essential items that help enhance their builds.

At the start of each new league, we set up a "leveling" tab stocked with commonly used uniques and gear to make the campaign process smoother for everyone.
