Why do people looking forward to economy reset?

Are you stupid? Nothing is erased. You keep all your stuff. Reset means ladder reset, they will launch new league with its own ladder and economy, you will still have your character and all your progress in standard / hardcore.

Contrary to the term 'reset' they aren't going to actually reset anything so far as the player is concerned. They will add a new league where everyone has a fresh start but keeps their previous progress in the current league.

This then gives them a fresh economy untainted by outdated items, builds etc. They are then only going to use the new one for feedback purposes.

Who knows what reset of economy means.

Maybe ggg only change how drop works. Or divines can be made like in early times in PoE 1.

For example ability to change runes or how citadels can be found on maps is already change into economics..

Or there wil be new league.. so some stay in current game, other goes to new one.. In this case I assume/hope it will be after 3 months from release date.

Because they think mirror items will magically change price to cost 1d at most and that they'll be dropping mirrors non-stop.

They absolutely do.

They think there's "inflation" right now, while sitting in hideout for 500h and spamming the forums with 6 portals.

Didn't realize this was a game about trading to build currency stores to justify a lack of drops. I'd get it if you guys were making real life money like they were in D2.

This isn't the reason people want a fresh economy. And inflation is absolutely real right now due to some of the most game breaking bugs in PoE history (understandable for EA of a new game). New economy will not make these items more accessible, quite the opposite. Fresh economy will just not be tainted by those bugs so will be much better for proper feedback.
