I hope to create a male and female character and a body and face sculpting system
Because there are no male or female characters in the characters. Many people are forced to play female characters. This makes straight male players very uncomfortable to play. I hope there can be male and female character creations like Diablo 4. And the matching of body and face shape. Let the game be based on witty words.

This is EA not alpha lol. Also, you literally can't see your character's face 99.99999999999999999% of the time.

Not gonna happen. Also I'm not sure how it's unconfortable to play an Avatar with a different gender then you IRL but ok.

A lot of male players pick female characters on purpose. If you are staring at a screen for 200+ hours in a month then don't you think the male player might want to be looking at a female? Assuming they play for the home team, of course.
Anyways, this game obviously is designed with a certain atmosphere that is dark and gloomy. It definitely isn't Barbie or something. Plus I don't know about you but my eyes are hounding the edges of the screen or my orbs. Last edited by FruitLord#0833 on Jan 14, 2025, 11:34:17 PM

I only have issues with female voices. Witch and sorc sound like 14 yo brats and I would love to have sorc voice actress from D4. If there is only one thing D4 did well, it's sorc's voice.

Straight male people play whatever they want. Gay males play whatever they want. Literally everybody plays as whatever they want. I play the trickster in poe1 sometimes and it doesn't bother me at all to not be my irl sex. In a game that isn't about the character you play, who actually cares? If it were a character driven RPG then it might be different, but it isn't, you don't have the choices or options to impact a story.
But the Witches voice bothers me, it just grates on my ears and I truly don't like it. |

i just want the ability to choose our character models. male or female or watever. it can be from the existing pool of models even.
but for face sculpting? tbh thats a meme. could be more costly to implement for a game where players barely see their faces. good to have but very low priority [Removed by Support]

As a straight man, I find your proposed motivation deeply off-putting, but I do agree that having the option to choose a character's gender is something I'd like.
Before becoming a PoE player, I played a lot of MMORPGs, and I always chose female characters—not as a reflection of my gender identity but simply because, as a straight man, I prefer admiring the design of female characters. Even though I’ve spent countless hours playing the classes in the bottom-left corner of the passive tree in both PoE 1 and 2, I have absolutely no desire to control a male character. Just think about it—controlling and investing in a strange man’s body, helping him become stronger, more muscular, more “manly,” and swinging around a “totally non-sexual” giant weapon… Dude, I’m not even sure if that behavior is straight or the complete opposite. Lastly, as a fellow friend who also uses Chinese, I would like to share a Chinese meme with you. 男人就該喜歡陽剛的東西,比方說其他男人的肉體。 Last edited by jojo1225#3785 on Jan 15, 2025, 1:23:46 AM
