Proposal: Allow Players to Spend Gold to Resurrect in Maps

Your first point is something I've been trying to figure out, actually. The conclusion I've come to is that this change will really only affect players at the bottom rung, since mid-to-late-stage players won't often need the resurrect feature. Maybe this will result in more exalts in the market, though? That's definitely something to consider.

This is before we take any future nerfs to top tier builds into account. Assuming that future top tier builds will die more often than they do now in a more balanced version of the game, these changes might become more useful to players who are well into the lategame. When I originally made this thread, I had just hit T15 maps and was just starting to fine-tune my build. Now that I have a better grip on my build, I hardly ever die and would thus rarely need to use this feature myself. But it would be nice for the occasional rip here and there.

Spending gold to re-enter the map and pick up what you missed might be alright. Either that, or you could maybe pay Doryani to reset maps marked with "Map Attempted" to their original condition, league mechanics and all.
Problem there is I can definitely see myself dying on purpose near the end of the map on areas with pre-setup towers on corrupted zones to re-do pre-map attempted layouts, especially if my character's just levelled up.

I don't know how I'd feel then about running the map a 'third time' then after picking up the remaining loot and then AGAIN having to run the layout just to get to the next node, but I also don't think GGG would just allow players to freely suicide-run through the atlas to get to specific nodes.

But overall yes, I think actually this would be a good compromise to the current system.

Your approach looks perfect to me. I'd be more than happy, if its implemented as you suggested it.

And it will prevent from exploiting map to repeat same mechanics endlessly.

I would rather increase more difficulty after death at least 10 levels.
or maybe u could pay something like 500k gold to get the waystone back if u died and another 500k to keep the atlas mods on the node
