Upcoming Changes in Path of Exile 2 0.1.1

Most important thing to fix is - increase scroll zoom by 30% same as you did for atlas. Or should i make petition with milion votes for it? Cheers :)
The best change was the lute music.

The game is slow & boring and the mtx is gated behind whenever you decide to let us use it/work on it. Profit wise, it wouldn't make sense for you to make the mtx available to use in PoE 2 asap, would it?

Your interview addressed very little and the questions given were really passive. The majority of what I saw complained about on forums and reddit was not addressed. These same people that interview you give the most softball questions I've ever heard, it doesn't even feel like an interview at that point.

Good thing profit isn’t GGG’s main focus. How about you try doing better yourself before trashing others? Or are you just one of those people who talk big but never deliver?

You're right, what was I thinking? The company is not here to make profit or have any duty to their parent company. They are just here for their philanthropy so they can hook you on their game out of the kindness of their heart. They don't need money. The mtx has nothing to do with it and they are really prioritizing letting you use the mtx that you paid money for in the previous game. Glad you cleared that up for us.

Let us zoom out more. Bring back 32:9, Heist Alt Quality Gems, Gear Enchanting, Prophecy, Metamorph & Crucible. Stop removing content from the game. Stop nerfing everything. Stop making the game slow

I see so many people complaining about the rate of the coming changes or GGG communication, even now after the announcement of what I would call a substantial and very good update coming later this week. I really don't get it.

PoE2 is at the beginning of its early access, of course there are bugs, balance issues and some systems are not fully baked yet. The improvements are coming based on players feedback and complaining about the rate of changes won't change a thing.

Some changes are relatively easy to implement, and we'll see them in the next patch, while other changes take more time. You can't expect to have all the improvements ready tomorrow, just because you think there is a problem right now.

GGG also needs to decide on the best strategy to implement changes, even if they could add all classes, missing skills and finish all improvements right now, they probably shouldn't. These things need to be introduced over time, so there is enough time for everything to be fully tested and the strong momentum is built before the full release.

People also need to have a reason to come back to the game and test the improvements, so the ideal solution is 2-3 months cycles with substantial changes instead of constant small fixes just to please small minority of impatient players.

I also think there should also be some content left for the final release of the game. This way we can attract more players at the most important moment - the full release of the game. The more players, the better revenue for GGG and as a result we'll have better and better game for years to come.

My message to all impatient players is to relax and enjoy the ride, I'm pretty sure the game will be great, as GGG proved time and time again.

GGG, you are doing AMAZING work, please ignore the complains coming from people who have no idea how to run the game, and only care about their own little dopamine hits.

The irony that you put out a wot expecting people to read it while completely dismissing other's maybe valid complains lol. Nothing against you but it was funny.

I'm reading pretty much everything what's been said here, and I can't wait to see the upcoming patch notes, hopefully GGG releases them very soon.

Some of the complaining comments, though, seemed ridiculous to me.

"I want the game to be exactly as I say, and I want it now" - to loosely quote some people :)

Being developer myself I can only admire the speed of GGG's changes and their transparency in communication

It's true some of the complains are ridiculous which i fully agreed but making blanket statements about people who aren't devs won't sit well with most people thus my initial reply. For example my only complain was about minions, very reasonable if you ever played one and i'm not a dev. Should i be ignored as well?

So, thank you GGG for making the game how you envision it to be and only fix things that make it literally unplayable.

no +% life nodes (yea there's exactly one but okay)
no love for bleed in the tree
minions mandatory, or at least heavily implied
many ascendencies as they are now are unplayable forcing players to adopt a pre-built copy, no innovation, basically play gemling or just accept you suck
armor calculation is borked making it next to worthless
that said, having cloak of flame and 75% fire res is more tanky than stacking 30k armour at level 75
a single flask (olroths) makes you invulnerable
easily duplicatable items / server crashes for profit

i dont think GGG envisioned any of this, theyre ignorant if they didn't, or have done all of it with full knowledge. either way, they are doing a bad job.
