"It IS as it has always been and yes i am a bit surprised with the minion related stuff early league but i do understand why arsonists needed to have the same spirit cost as storm mages and frost mages since they are basically the same type with a different element, it only makes sense. And yes they will probably nerf those top performing builds and bring up the power of the underperforming builds at some point but that wont happen before a economy and league reset just like IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN, nothing new about that approach which is what they did in poe 1 too. Besides balance is not the top priority as of now and there are far more important issues that needs to be addressed first, besides balance might change a lot when the remaining content and items/skill are released which makes balancing now kind of wasted when we dont know the end result as things get released.Besides related to the minion balancing i think there was some unintended interactions with certain skills creating infinite loops affecting server performance and stability which i think was part of the reason. Once they release more content there will also be a spectre gem which might end end up making minion builds completely broken but until then we will just have to wait and see. It actually went exactly as i thought with the upcoming patch and i expected no balance changes at all, but all my questions was answered in the podcast and i know now what direction they want to go. " I find it hard to phrase this respectfully. There is a reason why most asians are in the top percentile academically, hard work. No excuses, no entitlements but grind. Taking a 3-4 weeks holidays for christmas is totally unheard of and even 3-4 days off is considered a privillge in asia. But hey i understand their game, their culture, their rules. Just saying. |

Balance patches don't need to wait for anything. They can and should be implemented asap.

-ES, mana and attribute stacking is fine, everyone have to play with it. Thinking that it would be wise to play with other layers of defense is a mistake. -Economy are actually perfect ,no one has abused of bug to duplicate items and get rich by increasing the price of currency / items. -MF still be good, no change for this perfect stats -Balance of skill and classes is well, if you disagree,maybe you haven't tried warrior spark stacking ES and Mana. -20% more simulacrum splinter, you now get 12 instead of 10 while breach get 600 per map -Uniques items changes : Before the patch 5 uniques among the 500 existing ones are absolutely broken and meta, after the patch : 5 uniques among the 500 existing ones are absolutely broken and meta -Don't worry you will continue to get t1 maps in your t18 one -Less bads mods on items, you now get less mods like Light radius and more accuracy. |
