Screen keeps flashing Black when at caravan

I'm on PS5 pro playing in PVVR 120hz image quality Balanced with shadows and global Illuminatic on (default) on a Philips momentum monitor with HDMI 2.1 vrr. In game going through the levels are fine but during the first cut scene and at the caravan the screen flashes black and makes the game unplayable. If I press the PS button on the controller it stops until I unpause then it starts again. I go into a level and it plays fine with absolutely issues but go too the caravan and it starts again... This does not happen every time but it happens often enough
