BUG or Intended? Berserk + MoM + CI
I am running Berserk with MoM + CI.
I randomly die for no reasons. It says "Has been slain", and I am 100% its not offsscreen 1 shots or anything like that. I still have energy shield and full of mana. The tooltip for Berserk is a bit confusing, so it grants me 0.2% of physical attack leeched as life per stage, while lose 0.1% per rage per second while not losing rage. MoM tooltip says All Damage taken from Mana before life. so If i were to lose life from Berserk shouldnt it be from my mana? However, I usually die whenever I am not attacking like between packs? I am curious if this is a bug or intended? If it is intended is there anyway to work around this? As I would like to keep CI and berserk. Last bumped on Jan 11, 2025, 4:33:29 AM

" All Damage is taken from Mana before Life. (In PoE 2) Life loss is not damage, though. It isn't taken from Mana with Berserk because Berserk does not damage you, it makes you lose life. I'm not 100% confident with the interaction between Berserk and CI here. From the sounds of it, I would assume that Berserk is making you lose life based on what your Max Life would be without CI allocated, and that when the life loss exceeds 30 per second, you die because the life loss exceeds 1 per server tick. Before then, progress towards lost life accumulates, but is negated by regeneration. Edit: it depends on how many stacks of Rage you die at, though. If it's only when you hit 30 rage, it might be that Berserk also has a minimum of 1 life lost per second per stack of rage. If it doesn't seem consistant how many stacks you die it, it could be the passive that gives you a small chance to gain up to your maximum rage when you gain rage, if you have that.
