How about you wait for the second update that was announced for this Sunday before jumping on your warhorse ?
In this thread, bunch of traders jealous that they missed out on a huge windfall.
It definitely effects normal players, at least in trade league. There are a lot of reasons why normal players are priced out of even mediocre items and duping (items OR instances) exacerbate the problem tremendously.

There should be repercussions if you want your game to have integrity.
i dunno that is really does effect lower level players. for them to be priced out of mediocre items thats suggesting people who exploited their way to 10s of mirrors are buying mediocre items for inflated prices with that wealth. im fairly sure theyre not buying anything short of S tier items.

Ultimately amounting to zero net worth because the EA realm is not standard, it isn't ever going to be anything more than a nostalgia trip, nothing will escape it (well maybe names) and nothing will be added to it, very likely that once EA is over that it won't be listed for trade.

FYI, most idiots that exploit like this are involved in RMT and allowing them to do their thing allows GGG to track what accounts mule the items, and who buys them which is even better because instead of banning one scum bag the get many and their stashes.

That applies to every live service game :)

May you succeed in your "clever use of game mechanics"

Well first off there is no "trade league" I am guessing you mean standard.

More items brings the price down. Everything you've said is factually incorrect.

So how is that zero net worth? Exploiters 100% RMT'd their winnings. Who the fuck would amass mirrors in EA? Of course they sold it for hundreds of USD. As if banning their accounts would do anything. They already earned their profit. Only the buyer would get punished. The initial exploiter gets a slap on the wrist. Not like they give any Fs. They're laughing at you with their hundred dolla bills, sucka.

thats not really how markets work. people with mirrors are not buying mediocre items, so they are not pushing up the price of them. its just not a thing.
