Resonating Shield animation cancel to attack faster

If you are holding down Resonating Shield and then press Raise Shield at the correct timing (seems like about when the weapon hits the shield), the Resonating Shield animation is restarted from the beginning. Once you have the timing down it is pretty consistent to attack seemingly 2x faster than intended.

Shield Charge also triggers this behavior. With Magma Shield, hold Resonating Shield and tap Shield Charge with the same timing. Resonating Shield attacks faster and Shield Charge is never used.

Strangely, doing this tech also consumes less mana than just holding Resonating Shield.

And that is probably why the persistence support rune doesn't work for the molten blast buff... you cannot spam the reset cause molten blast goes on cd for 0,75s...

And on top of that... hahahahaha, i was looking for an easier trigger than explo grenade for gas grenade... but couldnt consistently proc molten blast... now i can hahahahaha
Also wasn't realizing that the shield is only raised one time at the start of resonating shield... but with this tips, you can raise shield on molten blast cd just by pressing shield charge while casting resonating shield :)
It also breaks armor and do dmg almost 2 times faster, who complained about warrior powerlevel (:

But it's not 2 times faster right ?
Cause i think you only can reset one swing out of 2, right ?

Edit: Hahahahaha NVM, you can spam reset, waaaaaaay faster

And martial tempo works on it !

And if i understand well... mana spent during 5 sec time cast is the same with or without martial tempo... but since it attacks faster, could say it's lower cost ye

I'm new to PoE and, seeing 1 button builds everywhere almost made me quit already... But then i found weapon swap mercenary with shield..... def high skillcap build. It looks super strong and versatile ! and underrated.

... Because... it's the same with crossbows, soo much animation cancel potential... still have to practice and figure it out tho, or like weapon swap, ammo swap, skipping reload for burst dps
