That sucks... on PlayStation the application is called 'Path of Exile 2 - Beta'

That being said they're not responding to threads that have over 1000 posts, so they're not really doing what developers should be doing during a beta. All they need to do is respond to appease the community, but they're too apathetic to do so. Path of Etic.

Another approach: The problem is not the BETA thing, but the complete lack of communication. I would accept it if they said it would be ready by February 1. I think that's the bare minimum.

fair point totally agree with this lack of communication is a big problem but i will say as well just coming back off Christmas break there prob trying to put all sorts of fires out and with that until they know what there fixing or fixed then they prob cant say in full i think by the ned of the week maybe Monday next week at the latest they will be a post with alot of things people are disgruntled about but 100% communication is key

so they take our hard earned money and dont tell us that its a beta until we start the application... that is literally bait and switch. being sold a product that does not say beta on it means its a full release. i just dont understand the ones who defend ggg to the death about this lol.

I get it GGG Marketing team could have been alot clearer but also i used abit of common sense and personally i knew this wasnt going to be a polished product, persoanlly the biggest mistake GGG did in my opinion was release it to everyone at the same time they should have hand selected afew thousand people to test it live give feedback and then afew months later released it to everyone

ontop once you charge people for a product the expectation is its going to be running smooth and polished and again personally when a gaming company says its in Early access for 8 months i translate that as its a beta for 8 months while they smooth out everything i went into this launch knowing that the game will be far far from finished

on top of this Johnathan did say in a interview that the game was like 80% complete (i hope im wrong on this) but if they think this is 80% complete..... ooofff thats a stretch.

But like i said im here for the long ride. just think the state the game is in atm is going to be the worst state the game will ever be in because it only going to get better from here its just gonna take time. 3 days back into work after a 2 week hoilday break is not when i would expect some meaningful changes but maybe 2 weeks back at work sure even if its only a small amount of meaningful changes 2 week to see them and then hopfully things get better from thereon out
