POE 2 keeps crashing

I too are experiencing intermittent dropouts.

Hi ,also crashing a LOT, specially today, on EVERY loading map, or then loading the game after..
It is CLEAR that the issue is not a hardware issue, due to the thousands of reports from players with all sorts of different PC parts, from high end to low end. It is CLEAR that is a software issue, most likely due to poor optimization, along with NVIDIA and MICROSOFT updates. there are several and extensive reports of troubleshooting steps on the web. many of us tried and followed them, some got lucky some not. in my case, reverting the windows update solved it for a couple days, but then they patched the game and ever since the patch the game is REALLY terrible with the crashes. I would crash 1 or 2 times a day... but now it is just constant when loading maps/loading the game (crashes on loading , sometimes does not even get to login screen, sometimes crashes after selecting the character ) .. THANK GOD this is EA, but still, its something URGENT TO FIX !!!!!!!!! |

Bumping cause im also crashing.
Played 10 hours yesterday only happened twice. Cant even load my character today. Always locks up at loading screens. Hard Freeze 3 times in a row. Limited my CPU just so that when it does crash, Ill be able to stop the process. Please help, I just want to play games with my friends. |

" How did you limit your CPU to be able to stop the process? Because when my game crashes, it freezes my computer and it hard shut down, which is obv not great. If you have a solution to avoid the computer completely shut down and that only the game is crashing, please share because hard shut down is pretty nasty. |

Hi, I changed my PCIE speeds from PCIE 5.0 to PCIE 4.0, no crashes so far.

" https://github.com/Kapps/PoEUncrasher/releases/ I can’t speak more highly of this if you are hard crashing. I have nearly 80 hours on it with only 2 crashes and only 1 required a hard reset. I’d recommend v1.3 tho compared to 1.4 |

Last few days I can barely open the Endgame map. BEST SCENARIO I can complete 1 map. Then constant crashes happen. Can't even get into the hideout with loading constantly crashing the game.
Running RTX 4080 with i7-13700KF, 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD. Should be nothing the hardware is blocking. GGG come one fix this software thing already. It kind of makes me quit the game. I already know people quitting because of constant crashes. It is not fun opening the game, loading screens 15 times in a row, in order to play 1 map and then start with trying to get into the game again 15 times... GGG please... |

I am crashing at loading screens before maps, and also on loading screens going back to a map after being in the menu. I'm playing on a PS5 so there's really nothing I can do about it.

Same problem. Best I can do is limit my cpu so it doesn't crash the computer too.
