An Audience With the King Is a Scam

So I've played quite a few ritual maps in hope of getting the audience and gave up after like 20-30 tries.

Today while clearing t16 boss map with ritual in it I decided after finishing the map and boss to do ritual for fun. And you guess it I get(well actually don't get audience with the king).

Why don't I gut it? Well for some idiotic reason the audiance with the king costs 3,7k points, now I cleared 4 rituals in that map and ended with around 2,2k points.

So, if you make audience so rare to even find, WHY, just WHY the FUCK would you make it not possible to buy???

I cleared all 4 rituals, killed all the monsters so why the hell does it cost 3,7k when I only got 2,2k from 4 ritual?????

Ive found two, both cost around 2.2k. But I agree they are too rare.

You can also defer rewards and buy them later btw
Why didn't you defer it?
You have to defer it, it seems to be intended design to not be able to buy it right away. Some omens cost over 20k and you have to defer it for multiple maps before you can actually buy it.

It is indeed bad design you have to kill the boss for atlas points i agree tho
You defer it multiple times, deferring an item doesn't mean you get it in next ritual either.
Old Ritual had altar types, i think this one is also same, just that its 4 types(tornado, cloud, bombs, blood).
So for example if you defer audience in an altar with tornado you need to find another ritual with tornado and its all rng.
I've been running maps for days and still haven't found one

Yeah, I think imma just quit playing ritual, the fact that these items are so rare and you have to defer them god knows how many times just so you can buy them is just crazy to me, it's seems like such a idiotic thing to force players to grind 10x more.
Complaining because you don't know the mechanics.

Simple, juice a section with ritual altars, choose waystones with high pack size, magic monsters, increased magic monsters, increased rares, the more in the ritual circles the better, you'll get more points.

Yep, this is the way to go. Got it with two defers and it ended up costing 2450 (down from original cost of ~2800) on the third round of rituals. Was able to get it when there was only 3 altars in the map. Just took a bit of planning. I never buy anything in the rituals until after I recycle the rewards.
The defer mechanic feels like an arbitrary hurdle that adds nothing to the gameplay experience. I thought the goal was to simplify? Yeah you can defer it but why should the defer mechanic even exist? "Hey, they've finally found the ultra rare item so let's tease them a little more!". Does deferring add some kind of depth that I'm missing? Item too expensive -> defer -> item to expensive -> defer. Fun.

The "Complaining because you don't know the mechanics" justification is just bizarre. You figuring out the objectively bad mechanic doesn't make it a good mechanic. Stop with the weird elitist gatekeeping. If you're going to defend the mechanic then please thoroughly explain why it adds some meaningful depth beyond "I get it, you don't".
