[edit] after trying the standalone client i can now see my nodes again 
it looks like this for me since 3 days.
when you stay at this position it maybe go away (you see the rest). but sometimes not

Is there any performance benefit for playing on standalone client instead of steam ?

i saw reddit flooded with posts about rollbacks, item dupes and 'free vaal orbs' -> crash -> rollback
Is that fixed ?

You have passed the map far from this place, pass something closer to this place and then the area will load
Or reboot client, yes
Ohhh! thanks man :D now i know what to do if this happens again :D
