trial of chaos "escort the statue" is garbage, terrible game design, F

I find the escort infinitely better than the other variant.

So that you have incentive to rush back to the drop off point, rather than leisurely clearing the mobs, as well as balance the risk of not killing all the mobs versus getting rid of the DoT effect.

It does hit non-evasion builds harder, though, since evasion ones have a much safer time ignoring most mobs.
By far one of the most boring and lackluster execution along with the waiting for groups of monsters to spawn in. They could easily reward better clear with things like making the statue move faster if no monster is in the vicinity and slowing it down if there are, but the developers dont seem to know or worse want to reward that sort of play.

POE1 similar systems used to be faster depending on the player movement speed. I understand your frustration and I dislike it as hell.

Either fix it or remove this statue shit.
