Incredibly frustrating
I don’t even know where to begin with this...
I purchased early access for POE2 on my PS5. Supposedly I had an account created & linked to POE1 & website prior to this and I can only imagine this is where the chaos began. As of right now, I have 2x accounts in POE2. One of them has my main characters that I use. The other one, the one that I DO NOT use has my twitch streamer launch day event rewards (chimera pet, etc.) I figured I would just forfeit these since I had my other character started on the other account I've been using since day1. I have been dying to trade like everyone else is, in hopes to upgrade my playing experience with better gear. For whatever reason the POE site thinks that I do not own POE2. So I cannot trade. I figured I will use real money to upgrade stash tabs & maybe a cosmetic or two.. so I figured I would purchase the "King of Faridun" supporter pack. I purchased it for the account I'm using with my 2x lvl 70+ characters in hopes that it will finally allow me access to trading. Nope. Absolutely did not. To make it more frustrating, everything I purchased went on to the account that I don't want to use. I emailed because of course that's the only way to seek help. I'm wondering if there is any resolution to this nightmare? Has anyone else been dealing with this and ended up getting it resolved? I'm hoping to Consolidate both accounts, my points & cosmetics on to the one account I use. Is this even possible? Thanks for reading and would love to hear some feedback! Anyone else with this issue?

I had a similair issue, created account before launch, and psn made a new account ON launch.
Anyway i could not trade nor acces my coins. Solution was that i could link both accounts via the website. That would resolve your problem. |

I'm on the Ps5 and for weeks I couldn't even whisper sellers on this site. I'd get the error message, "Invalid query; Your account must be in-game to use this feature" and yes I had linked my sony account and yes I was in-game at the time. As a result, I've been crafting my own gear and struggling to stay alive because I don't have optimal gear. I don't have the streamer version of the game with the big magic find boost.
I asked them to delete my entire poe.com account because my Poe 1 characters were linked to it still and I figured it might be the reason I wasn't able to whisper Poe 2 sellers. Instead they offered to delete my old profile with the Poe 1 characters and leave the new one in place. I was very clear about wanting the ENTIRE POE.COM ACCOUNT DELETED so I could try using this site via my Psn only but they completely ignored that. It's really weird they don't allow us to delete the whole account ourselves. The in-game tradeboard in Poe 1 for console is so much better than trading on poe.com. I was very surprised to see it's missing in Poe 2. The console tradeboard only has 1 major flaw.....the items that meet our requirements when we do a search are spread out randomly across HUNDREDS of pages instead of being compiled on page 1, page 2, etc. I had assumed they would give us a new and improved tradeboard for Poe 2. GGG has made an awesome game that will keep getting better but they've really dropped the ball on trading. Now we have to go into another player's game to click on their character to trade. The Poe 1 console tradeboard eliminates the need to do this. Furthermore, if we see an invitation on our screen and then it goes away.....where do we go to find it again? Is it just gone forever? Does GGG expect us to stare at our screens constantly so that when an invite pops up we can accept it during a 5 second window???? If there's a record of invitations I haven't been able to find it in the social menu. |
