Yeah, it's an issue, but there's worse issues to have in an Early Access that will be wiped in the near future (we may even see multiple wipes), imo.
This gives people the opportunity to mess around with arguably the most broken item in the game, and try to break more stuff that GGG would need to inevitably fix anyways. Sure it's game-breaking for most builds and nullifies most content for them, but hell it's pretty fun at least.
Its just most notable exploit. There is more of them, with this rollback. And thats ruin core of the game.
There's exploits? In Early Access? Oh no, hopefully they have time to fix them before release.
Yeah, obviously there's issues. Saying it "ruins the core of the game" is a little extreme, though. It breaks a couple of builds completely making them absurdly overpowered, but that's only a few builds.
If you want to build archmage spark nonsense now to test things, then awesome - now there's more people to test things.
I'd be mad too if this was official release and all our shit wasn't getting yeeted into oblivion anyways after this EA is over, but it's not. None of this matters, it'll be fine - we're literally here to do the thing you're bitching about. Like...that's the point, to try and intentionally break things so they don't have a million more surprise bugs come release.
YES, This is fine its EA.
literally loooooong time till release, its fine.
Multithread thing seems bit more important
cheaters/hackers.(figure out where they come atleast, is it the 3rd party or not.)
botting (free to play + bots. Every leagua thats not SSF will be horror.)
Counter-strike "fixed" botting and cheating somewhat BEFORE going Free to play with Phone number integration.
Do not know if this can work in Free to play game, since phone numbers can be easily faked. Kinda want the korean way, where its integrated to your social number.
I plead everyone to try to BREAK game as much as possible in EA, and then report it.
That way we can have much better experiense when the game comes out properly.

Preach, brother. I've been having a ton of fun, and I want this game to be as good as possible, and to do that we gotta dive deep and find some wonky shit that needs fixing. In the process, markets will crash and builds will be broken, and that's fine - that will happen in the process of these fixes, because those changes will obviously directly effect some peoples' builds.
I'm expecting a number of absolute shitshow "meta shakeups" where players are screeching from the rooftops because they fixed an obviously broken thing that a small minority of people were able to unequivocally abuse for a time in the coming weeks/months, similar to this issue.
God damn, I'm so here for it.

Lol.. how exactly are you affected from playing the game otherwise?
Affected? Let's break down just how ignorant that question is. When a game-breaking exploit turns an intended ultra-rare unique item into a common drop, it doesn't just 'affect' me, it fundamentally damages the entire game. It devalues everything that isn't duplicated. You might be comfortable with watching your carefully earned currency and found items become worth less, but the rest of us aren't playing a game to watch exploiters mass produce items, essentially printing them and crashing the economy. It's not just about some abstract concept of 'feeling' affected; it's about concrete, measurable damage to the game's economy and overall integrity.
The issue isn't about my personal feelings, it's about fairness and equity within the game. The fact that some players are actively abusing a known exploit to gain an unfair advantage is not okay. Are you genuinely suggesting it's acceptable for a small group of cheaters to flood the market with duped items while the rest of us play the game as intended? Do you honestly think that's a system that promotes a positive gaming experience? It's not a personal attack, it’s simply a fact; when the rarity of an item is completely undermined, it undermines everyone’s experience.
It’s not a matter of 'maybe' we are affected; it’s a blatant disregard for all players, and it’s absurd to suggest otherwise. So, unless you are one of those benefiting from this mess, I would hope you can see how this affects more than just my own game. If you can't see how this ruins the intended game balance, you're either deliberately blind or complicit in this system of exploitation. The issue, in short, isn’t about 'how am I personally affected,' it's about how such obvious cheating destroys the value and enjoyment for all players.
As if trading wasn't cheating in itself lol. Speak for yourself, I couldn't care less about trading and I use it only because crafting/loot drop in POE2 has been terrible so far.
- I don't see any damage to the game nor its integrity
- The item's rarity is unaffected for me
- The exploit doesn't have any effect on my gaming experience
- Doesn't undermine it
- I don't feel disregarded, I am unaware of anyone benefitting from it as I play the game because, again, idc about trading.
- The exploit doesn't ruin balance for me, scarce currency drops and non existent crafting ruin it for me.
- My gaming value and enjoyment is not destroyed by it
TLDR speak for yourself, not for all. Also, you're playing EA
