0.1.0e Hotfix 5
" I'm sorry first of all - I myself haven't encountered a game breaking bug yet. But I nearly exclusivley played a self-found Monk so I can't speak for other classes or builds and modes. But I've reached the endgame before christmas and I'm going to play again now after the winter holidays are done. (at least for me) Although I gotta say I am not interested in any multiplayer features at all but thats just me and my experience. I only had a few quest, sound and interface bugs mostly. But apart from my experience I totally understand frustation when a software that I purchased doesn't work correctly. However as someone who is working in an IT-Environment and has knowledge about coding and gamedesign I tend to see things more realisticly. We've all bought a game that is a work in progress. That is what "early access games" are. Many of those are games that are in really early states of development and barley playable. Some of them are further along, some nearly finished. This game is absolutley playable for most people. It even has an end game already. Is it working for everyone? No. Is it fun for everyone? No. No game is. Is it an unplayable mess? No. Definitley not. Reading how people are expressing their negative experience and opinions in this forum is in no shape or form appropriate towards the people that have been making this game. And no - 14 days is not unacceptable. It might be for you but thats a you problem. You've willingly purchased something that is in development. Stop buying Early Access Titles if you can not comprehend what it means. |

im glad we get these things out of the way in EA :)

" Yeah, the Microsoft update on Linux machines makes the game crash on it. |

" there is literally nothing they can do against exploiters but fix these things asap, but ig small indie company were too busy eating turkeys for almost 3 weeks to do anything and now is too late, idk how delusional you people are Last edited by prometheus#6904 on Jan 3, 2025, 3:34:49 PM

" I get what you are getting at. But for some people it is literally unplayable and has been since launch. Which is nearly a month ago. Steam labels early access as 'Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development' Key words 'Play game in it's current state'. Not pay and you might get a chance at playing :) Remember, it's going to be free to play. A lot of us bought early access to support the devs and game we love. " Guess what Microsoft the third biggest company in the world is still not able to fix dupes and exploits in diablo4 after 18 months. last epoch also had multiple gold dupes. So GGG is still way ahead in that regard. |

" As someone else who spent quite a while in the dev industry; I have to agree. The price is a support fee. It's a way to show appreciation for the work being put into what will be a free-to-play game. Early Access means you are accepting a role as a manual software tester. The product is not near its final state. Things may break, glitch or suck many times over the next 6-12months. Please remember when you are somethinging your gums about being conned, ripped off or scammed. If you don't like the game that's fine. Opinion is one thing, but starting agro is not acceptable behaviour folks. The devs are working their arses off in order to make the game they are passionate about work properly, fairly and eventually as a release product. give them some space eh... Stay a while, and listen…🐰

" Sorry seriously? you think having the item rolled back after days was enough of a consequence? This is what I mean by people having various high bars on integrity. That's not good enough for me; those people used items that don't exist to farm for multiple days. While honest players got left behind and fucked over. That's not ok with me. Your bar is a 4 mine is at a 10. |

" Yeah, something has happened. Johnathan has been around since the founding of the company tho; so i'm not sure why he just does not have staff nuke the exploiters There is no way he's sitting back going nah; it's ok they did this. We all know the chain of events GGG likes on reporting bugs. You even get free t-shirts. Shot in the dark but maybe they don't have the telemetry on instance creation and hence no logs; but I mean that seems weak. Last edited by Radikcdn#7051 on Jan 3, 2025, 4:30:47 PM
