Do level 20 skill gems drop?

I did several T18 maps so far, including with bosses. So far the highest tier gem is level 19. Are there level 20 gem drops and how do I get them?

yes. I've found exactly as many level 20 gems as perfect jeweler's orbs: 1

Do they require a T18 map or a special loot source?

no. Mine dropped in probably a t13-t15 waystone.

From what i know you need an area level 82+ for level 20 gems.

Same here, and I've been playing every day since launch.

They do...
BUT don't expect them to drop like 19's
for 293,4 hours played i got
2 x Perfect Jewelers
1 x L20 Skill Gem
1 x L20 Support Gem
230 Magic Find.

In almost a month of play: 0. It's absurd when in poe 1 we were getting it easy and free.

Just now realized they fall on the high tier...

yeah this is the answer. stuff like this is on poe2db. i just caved and bought one after vaaling 20 maps and getting 1 t16. i wonder what lvl 83 and 84 refer to. Is that stuff like expedition with 5+ difficulty? or maybe you get an invisible level for delirium.
