That doesn't work. Because it always goes max distance if you do that. What if I don't want to blink offscreen max distance into a mob of enemies? Or be perfect distance from an opening to blink to it?

I have to stop moving, so it will use the cursor. Otherwise it ALWAYS goes max distance. WHICH IS NOT THE CASE IF YOU STOP MOVING. IT STRAIGHT UP DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY MY GUY, GO TRY IT.

You're just wrong though. It should work the way it is working. The only thing that needs to change is that you should be able to dodge while it's on CD.


There is no objective view of right or wrong about how it feels LOL. As I originally said, I believe it should be a toggle, if it's more intuitive to you to use last directional input, have at it my man. It objectively does not feel intuitive to some players functioning as it currently does. There is absolutely zero reason to not have it toggleable.

I know you are not talking to me, but having blink go max distance and ignore cursor while using WASD as a PC user is objectively wrong, and straight up bad design. 60 spirit, no i-frames, cooldown, tiny objects stop movement instead of going around, sometimes straight up bugs and makes you teleport on the spot. Along with all of that, doesn't even allow you to control it properly without taking your fingers off your movement keys.

Objectively wrong. Badly implemented. Needs fixing.
Well this is what you get when you design the game around WASD controls archetype and dodge roll. You cannot have pinpoint movement skills.

I really wish that they had just kept the OG point and click and gave us the original movement skills from PoE 1 instead of a dodge roll. You can still make meaningful boss encounters with this type.

Oh well, they made the bed now.

But it is a pinpoint movement skill. You just have to take your hands off WASD to use it like that, which is stupid.
Please GGG just do it. Not just for blink, for the plain dodge roll as well.
