Request rejected due to your cross platform limitations.

Sometimes trade works fine, but more often than not when I try to invite someone to a party I get this error: "Request rejected due to your cross platform limitations."

I'm playing on Steam and as far as I know there's not even an option to disable cross platform on PC..

Is there a way to fix this?

Same issue!
Fiddled with disabling Cross Play when on Xbox, made sure it is now enabled there, but on Steam/PC am getting the same error as OP.

I feel like having played it on Xbox for some reason messed with it. It's probably a more rare bug not affecting many players.

This has started to happen to me as of today 12 Apr 25 . Cannot interact with anyone it seems and also can't invite to party to trade ! so I'm basically forced to play SSF while in Trade league. been getting constant DC for days and now this !!! lets just add this to the ever growing list of stuff that doesn't work in PoE 2 Glad I paid actual Money for this Untested pre alpha mess!!
