I've played every league since 3.03 on Xbox. 6 demi gods etc etc. The worst experience I've had from GGG is having a merged market finally... only to have no loot filter. Now we as console players are worse off than ever before. Merging the economy and making us sift through loot like this is the worst state poe has ever been in for console players. I've payed 150aussie dollars and I feel the only real option is to buy a pc, buy another key for pc, and not use the points and mtx I got for supporting the EA with my purchase. For a loot filter.. If poe1 endgame had no loot filter most people would have abandoned the game entirely. Console players showed such good faith in GGGs claims that they will generally take better care of console players. After years of suffering the Xbox economy ( in which I too called for a merge) the current game would be better if it had stayed separate. By every measure, it's not fair to now compete in a market with ppl allowed to use a loot filter. It has been crystal clear for many years that GGG have very little understanding of their game being played at a high level on consoles. The little faith we had in that changing is already gone for poe2. Truly sad.

" That's not how loot filters work, you subscribe to them via your linked account and they are uploaded to PoE servers, then you can select them from the dropdown. Not mods, they are built into the game They haven't implemented the subscription for PoE2 yet is all |

" 1) The poor xbox economy was due to low numbers of players. 2) The controller UI for 2 is night and day better than 1. Still lots of room for improvement, but I can't look at the controller interface for 1 any more without feeling a bit ill 3) It's early access. Another option is to treat it as such and wait for them to update their web APIs to support 2. |

I have been looking at this through the lens of it being EA. This is why I specifically made the point that in theory a separate economy would have at least been fair, even though I've begged for a unified market for years. It's a sad point to have to make. It's sad that the fairer option is a separate economy when clearly neither console players or GGG want this. The point is entirely focussed on it specifically being EA related. It should be unified, but only if it's fair. I thought it was an interesting realisation (after years of pining for unified, and it actually happening) that the only viable option of playing console for me right now is to become an ssf player for the first time ever.

oic, yeah that feels bad, but having played on playstation for years I think I'd still prefer access to the pc market even if it's majority out of reach, I pretty much played console ssf except for the occasional unique
But even so, there's more than a small amount of effort given to the console UI that is welcome |

I have been a player of PoE 1 for so long on my PlayStation, and I am level 92 on my Deadeye in PoE2.
I have reached the point where mapping is undoable without a loot filter. I am doing double-corrupted maps with breaches, and I spend more time filtering the dropped items on the ground and looking for something valuable than actually playing the game. At some point, my eyes start to feel very tired, and I stop playing. During the campaign, or maybe in instances like the Chaos/Sekema runs where the dropped look is not that much, it feels better, but in maps, it is close to unplayable for me at this stage. |

I think controller ui should have option to hide loot regardless of loot filter, m+k has it

after reaching mapping a loot filter is desperately needed , hopefully sony gives it the thumbs up soon :(
Great game so far , looking forward to full release in future :) |
