TRIAL OF SEKHEMAS (cruel dif)

While you're a bit in the hands of RNG the Sekhema trial still gives you tools to deal with the trial. Once I learned how important honor resistance was and made my setup a bit tankier (+ maybe 10+ attempts on 2-3 stage trial), I managed to get the 4 stage trial down on first attempt (playing as a monk).

I don't think the trial is as bad as others make it out to be, especially after the latest bug fixes and buffs to melee specs (less honor damage taken while in melee range). Yes I did cope for a few minutes and blamed everything but myself everytime I failed the trial, but I could see a very clear improvement every new attempt. Learned to avoid certain rooms/paths so that I as often as possible had more than 1 choice ahead of me.

Overall I think it's fine, only thing that really screws you over sometimes is when you get to choose between 3 bad rooms with bad afflictions. I don't get too bothered and see it as another "training round".

People won't leave because of the one stupid mechanics (you still can gain all your point in ultimatum). They will not engage in it and it will be either reworked or completely removed from the game.

Lets have constructive criticism:

1. losing all honor should not fail the trial, but give player some major disadvantage (but no BS)
2. honor should recharge at the start of every floor (as a reward after defeating the floor boss)
3. rooms and number of spaned enemies must be hand crafted to support dodge rolling
4. bosses should not have on death effects, especially in sanctum
5. its not a good experience when you have to fight 2 bosses at once (2nd floor), to any of the bosses to have AOE that covers half the arena

the fun part is making new characters and seeing build come together, trials make making new characters an epic pita as its the least enjoyable content in history of gaming, at least in my 25+ years of gaming i cant recall content i hate more, so people would play less.

It’s beatable but that doesn’t make it fine. Vast majority of people dislike it. It isn’t fun. It isn’t balanced for all classes. It doesn’t make sense for it to be in the game.

It isn't fine, stop defending it. You played monk, so you stacked evasion. Meaning your defensive layer allows you to avoid many hits in melee range. Im playing armour/life stack warrior. Every attack is extremely slow, so I always get hit when I stop to attack. I have honor res cap. I have as much defense as I can get. I can't get more max honor because I'm out of room for relics and I'm not farming this garbage game mode for the perfect relic drops because I shouldn't have to have ultra-specific rolls on stuff to complete core progression content. It is indefensable design against certain builds and playstyles.
I'm fkn sick and tired of my honour getting chipped away. FKN remove this bullshit honour mechanic. The majority of ppl HATESA this bullshit. I had 800 fkn honour left on the last door before the boss and it got zapped away by a FKN mob that shot me OFF THE FKN SCREEN. One hit amd I lost it all. Now I gotta wait until one of those STUPID fucking coins drops again. This mechanic is so fkn stupid. TAKE THE HONOUR MECHANIC OFF THE FKN GAME.
did my last 2 honour runs cruel without losing more than 50 hounor. One with ed and another with shockwave totem build. Its all about skill. Is it to hard, then you are to weak, just so simple. All this swearing and cuss words. Just calm down.

So 2 ranged builds that keep you out of harms way while dealing damage. Congratulations. You have shown how elite you are. Now go away.
What? Oh i forgot...are you playing without armor and is POE a game for melee? Pathetic approach.

Besides, everybody was complaining about lab over years. Same discussion. Yes things are stupid in honour system, but its doable.

Eliminate honor.
And make it so that you can only play the desired level, and don't be tied down to this trial for a long time.

That alone will satisfy me.

On the other hand, if you can't do that, the game is over.
Or you can just not combine Ascendancy and Sanctum.
