New POE2 Player Idea that would massively help Console Users.

I’ve played a lot of POE2 and I kept thinking that this feature needs to be implemented in the game and no reason not to.

There needs to be a website or page that console users can access to view/trade/manage their inventory separately from the console. Destiny 2 had something similar and it was a big help.

I would be able to go to a website, drag and drop and organize everything and it would update in real time on my console. Much like whispers from the trade website. *I also think it’s crazy that I can send a whisper and it update in real time, but I can’t send a real message* it takes forever to send a message on console, rather just type it on my keyboard while I’m next to my laptop.

Messaging, Item management, Trading is all an absolute pain on controller and this would fix everything. Don’t need to add “better keyboard and mouse support” because I don’t want to deal with all that for just one game. I’d rather just have my laptop open beside me and do all of that mentioned above.

I also think a cursor style selection method (like Destiny) would be much better than tapping a button a thousand times to get places in the inventory system.

I’ve never played a Path of Exile game before, and this is the first time I have ever tried to give a company suggestions or feedback before. I believe in this game and think this would massively increase new player retention and make a massive improvement to quality of life. This would also get people involved and thinking about the game when they’re away from their console. “Hmmm I have some spare time at lunch, let me organize these things for when I get back online.” Bad example, but it gets the point across that more people will be able to interact with the game away from home, and therefore be more invested.

Definitely a nice idea, but doubt they'd ever do it. Console players will likely get burned out from managing inventory rather than from the game itself lol.

I played a lot of console Destiny 1 and 2 and Ishtar Commander or Destiny Item Manager made playing the game infinitely more enjoyable. Like OP said, I would just keep my laptop or mobile handy while playing and manage inventory (amongst other features) 100x easier/faster than using the in-game UI via controller.

This 100% needs to be a thing.

An app to view our inventory, stash, chat, and etc.

Chatting for an app in global, whispers, and such would be an absolute godsend.

This would help a lot with trade for me. Especially if you would be able to loggin on the site and trade without turning on console.
