resistances have me stuck
Im at T3 maps and my resistances are terrible and I have no way to improve them other than banging my head against the wall for days and days in the hope of a drop that hasnt happened in the 100+ hours Ive spent in the game so far
Ive spent every bit of currency on trying to make better rings and didnt get lucky E Last bumped on Dec 22, 2024, 2:13:03 AM

Just craft the resistances you need on your gear. You don't need luck.

It's not that easy to simply craft the resistances you need, because they are very limiting to start with. 12% isn't going to help most players when they are down 30-45+ points.
The current RNG is terrible and I have burned through most of my currency gems to try and upgrade an item from common to magical with 4 random stats, only to end up trashing it because you are not allowed to choose 1 of those junk stats it rolls and replace it with something you want. This is what made D4 good when it comes to crafting, because you have actual control over ways to help improve each piece of gear instead of being forced to trash every piece as you do now in POE 2. The RNG and lack of control of what you craft are reasons why many are shelving this game for now, because it is just way too punishing, and forces casual players out of the markets and no desire to keep trying when you are bricked with 1 death only for maps and trials. I understand the need for challenge, but the current way is not good and creates endless frustration and resentment. Last edited by Palad1n72#2974 on Dec 21, 2024, 11:46:49 AM

I'm also really struggling to "solve" all these problems, especially mid -> late game when the amount of str/dex/int you need is kind of insane. I feel like every item has to give only resists, max life, and add to an attribute.

Resistances are easy to cap, if you can't or dont want to craft gear, you can simply trade for it. It only costs a few exalts which are a common drop.
Exchange up your other currencies for exalts then divines. Most people are sitting on way more currency than they think. |

" I likes to use my gold to gamble for good gear. Mostly rings/amulet. You're just going to have to grind a bit. |

Well, imagine an ARPG with 123 points to be distributed in a passive tree of thousands of nodes and not having any resistance or if you want LIFE something basic for an RPG???
