Dear GGG Please Reset the Server and Wipe all Chars and Stashes

If it's in opposition to league fresh I don't really care. Experiments are about controlling variables. I played a regularly wiping mud for years. Still check in occasionally. Apparently I have had the "FRESH" mind virus since the mid 90's. It seems logical to me to center that around balance changes loot changes spell tweaks. Some grognards coding in their spare time were doing it on the MUD and it just worked.

We are two weeks out from EA launch. A wipe right now wouldn't make any sense, and they said they weren't doing any temp leagues during EA, so it really wouldn't make sense. I think i'd be fine with Temp Leagues, I'd assume ascendancy switching is locked out so they can see how they level, so new classes and ascendancies should be launched with a temp league, so they can see how they level.

Anyways I'd be put out with a wipe right now, as would everyone, and since EA is getting it's own Permanent league, really no point. So like every famous social experiment, it's rigged from the get go.

If you play SSF why do you care then?

Its been 2 weeks and you want a wipe?

They've already said there will be no EA wipes..... Sure we'll get fresh start servers in EA so they can test all the changes/new stuff against new chars going thru the campaign with a fresh economy. It would be stupid to add the new classes into a flooded economy. I'm sure we'll see lots of currency changes before release with drop rates and diff currency. I'm sure we'll more currency shards added.

I cant wait for the tourists to instantly drop the game the second they realize PoE is a seasonal game with frequent resets lmao

Just because one can't be in top tier doesn't mean they need to reset the server. JUST FOR HIM?

Think about those who already put most of their times on the game?

It makes more sense if just start a new league and move existing characters & stash to standard?

I agree. It's EA, so poeple need to undestand that all their progress is useless in the end. The game need a soft reboot with MANY changes. EA is not the time for races or leagues, it's the time for many changes being introduced quick in order to stop the players loss.

The ones who don't agree, well, continue playing with less and less players.

I just got into the endgame for about 5 days or so.
So no..i honestly don;t want the wipe/reset to happen now.

I wouldn't mind it if the reset does not happen for at least another month

Yes. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but PoE 2 will have seasons every 3 months. You will lose all your characters and progress as they get moved to Standard league which will be dead with a cooked economy. It's a seasonal game.

The people freaking out at the reset are the ones saying "the game is fine, shut up and go play POE 1." They have no idea what is comming and they are going to ghost this game on the first league. And sure you can go play standard but virtually no one does actually do that.

Why would i care waht other poeple do if play this game solo?
At the same time, this is early access, i think the devs should reset the servers as often as they need to develop optimally.
