What is going on with the toxicity?

It's probably just you.

You make me feel unique.

But I am sure others that do are too shy to admit it.

You, what do you own the world? How do you own disorder, disorder?

Order and disorder are just state of being.
I wonder how you survive in real life if someone saying they dont like poe 2 is toxic.

the negative feedback is well founded tbh. The constant mapping nerfs , yet never nerfind builds that 1 shot every uber its frustrating. There are 50 ways to 1 shot bosses. Ppl do carry for last sactum floor boss for 5 ppl and still 1 shot him. Meanwile, ppl getting farmed on maps by white trash that hit harder than bosses.
EG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsCP0ry10dA&ab_channel=DisOerby shit like this. Its distastefull to watch knowing that dude jsut prob bought the entrance pieces from someone that spend days finding 3 citadels and were afraid to try it. \

This game is mostly played on trade, trade is in an awfull state compared to poe 1.

only way to enjoy poe2 is to play SSF. They tried expand the market to casual ppl, casual ppl will NEVER experience a uber boss with the current mapping mechanic and economy. Creates frustration. If they wannet ppl to struggle bosses should cap dmg or never skip fazes-like shaper in poe.

He nailed it, you're going to see a lot more negativity when people progress.

They touted the endgame as the thing they focused on the most. Just like every other game thats released, the endgame isn't there.

I give it 2-3 weeks, since most I know will probably catch up then.

You're exactly right. I played for a few days straight at 88, rolling delirium on waystones and raring them, for days looting and didn't come up with anything. The divine cost for pretty much every piece of gear makes really needed upgrades a couple weeks worth of work.

I have 70 magic find on my gear. I don't get jack crap for playing the game and then I have to sit at the keyboard while other people use bots to trade afk while they sleep.

Once again I feel like a video game currency sweatshop in a third world where I'm making pennies on the dollar. I can't upgrade. I don't have quite enough damage to clear fast, nothing good drops. All my gear I bought for a few exalted are worth 3-10 div lol and they are really mid level gear. I've literally dropped one 4 link jewel a couple pieces of high value armor, I've checked thousands of pieces of gear/rings/weapons/etc. I'm capped res and 515 dps staff and chest is 1200 evasion.

I'd really like to show you guys my gear and how shit it plays. I've tried 2-3 builds so far and some have improved it, but if you check out these streamers gears at least for monk they are running a 1000 DPS staff and have over 210 spirity with a chest piece that is over 1600 evasion. You guys just don't get it. I don't know how they got it all but it doesn't even seem legit.

I guess for them it was easy, they hit the trade site as soon as it worked, they knew what stats mattered early on and they didn't waste any of their currency. They got to use the market before it was controlled by divine bots and get gear that makes it so they actually do gain currency per hour.

Thats the funny thing about it you guys are going to play for another 100 hours just to get to my point and realize that you still don't get anything for your labor and you're just a second class citizen. Exploit early, exploit often, every game now like this you have to come in completely ready.

The drops are so bad you're going to end up trying to stack your difficulty on atlas tree, breachstones, delirium on the waystones rared t15+ and then you're going to die a lot, but the times you do clear and make it through you're going to see that the drops are trash.

You're going to go from eventually acquiring waystone sustain to losing it at t13+. You're going to successfully complete some really slammed t15s, and you get 1 t15 back. You're going to realize that the loot is so garbage and you don't drop anything that way.

You have to play the ruins and delirium and level them up and sell their drops over and over and over again.

You end up increasing the difficulty beyond what your gear can handle because you're so stuck. No where else to go, nothing to do.

Seems since PoE2 release the amount of toxicity in the forum has sky rocketed? Maybe it's just me but it feels a little wild out here right now. I even got sucked in a bit and had one of my posts removed and I felt kinda bad afterwards.

Anyways hoping everyone enjoys their holidays and spends some times with loved ones!

That's what happen when you try to appeal to bad player who don't know what an aRPG is and confront them to tryharders playing the same game for 10 years.

You will have animal crossing players jumping from games to games every 4 months, sacralizing each and every one as "the" GOTY, paternalizing 20 years veteran of aRPG.

If I read what these guys want: They just want to play a regular RPG, I have no idea what they are doing here.

GGG talked way more of poe2 being poe1+. They said one time it will be "the vision". And I will never ever forgive GGG for briging these lemmings into my line of sight.

We actually have the genshin impact army giving us the "gitgud" treatment while they are still stuck in acts and we are blasting 3 screens on our 4 character because poe2=no depth. They will learn what breach, expedition and ritual will do to their "vision" endgame lol.

1 None of these pokemon can bring up PoE2 without trying to belittle d4 (god know I hate this game) and PoE1 for some reasons.
2 They are trying really really hard to overthink the videogame and rewrite the definition of aRPG.

Ok the game is not for me, enjoy it and stfu, give us a break lol. You are playing a videogame, stop pretending a mediocre game like PoE2 is some lifebending experience and ENJOY PLAYING IT.

aRPG always have been niche for a reason. GGG will learn that. Apparently videogames can't please people in 2024. They can't be happy with their playerbase and give them what they want. They need to be this "next big thing", and most should play the same video game. What a pathetic world. I think we're just witnessing another Blizzard, CDPOJEKT. They still try to pretend they're indies, when they are a massive quadruple A selling dogpoop.

They did PoE1 with scarse ressources, they did PoE2 with billion budget. And the game is an incredible downgrade.

100% agree, as a casual that has put in more time then I usually have in the past, I find the current interactions and issues with the trade / economy a complete nightmare.

Trade manipulation is so openly rampant, I see it on streamer videos and content creators on YouTube showing this very issue is so rampant within such a short period of time.

Mapping feels like I am playing on HC, there is no fun in walking in, getting wiped by white mobs (even when I have resists at or near maxed) and know how to play my class well, the mechanics and issues with many situations in mapping, and the trials bricking you with no points to save as you progress, are all reasons I have shelved this game for the time being until the devs make some major updates.

I have changed back to SSF myself at this point, because I cannot possibly pay the over inflated market prices I see now for even basic marginal upgrades that I cannot find myself, or the horrible crafting system that requires you to blow through hundreds of upgrade gems in a hope to get 1 piece of gear with 4-5 slots of the stats you need... just for ONE piece of gear!

The crafting system is very punishing, I would rather go back to D4 because at least I had some control over what I would choose to remove and then roll against a list of suffixes or prefixes that I know it can roll, and re-roll as long as I have the currency to do so.

The 100% pure RNG that feels like it is designed with hidden weights to greatly lower the chance of getting the stats you want / need is not sustainable for players such as myself.
The funny thing is, anywhere else I hang out that have folks talking about the game, it's almost always positive, sprinkled with some (generally fair) criticism. It's only here that I feel like it's just pure radiation, though Reddit might also be bad, it's never good for anything and not a place I frequent.
