Network issue is back - POE 2 EA game is currently unplayable

Absolute nightmare over the last 3 days. Unplayable. Constantly getting lag spikes that last indefinitely most of the time. Inputs are still working and if I don't pause, or I'm not in a safe spot, I die. Would be phenomenal to get an actual response. |

The weird thing is. Im playing DUO MF with a Friend.
Me, having absolutely no issues, but my Friends game is lagging af. lagspikes from 200 to 2000 constantly since yesterday |

I post here aswell. I did a post over at https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3695144.
So the authentication servers work fine but the issue is with the DDoS Protection of PoE2 (I am guessing it is theirs since it is the direct hop before going onto said instance server). In the following picture you see me tracing the path from my router towards the Instance server I was given upon the connection to the game (IP taken from logs). I hid the first 4 hops (they are from my router towards my ISP and the first big network knot). After that you do get routed towards a frankfurt IP Adress (I started in frankfurt) and then get send over to australia to a DDoS Protection (google the hosts name in the following picture) and then back towards frankfurt. This marks the game as UNPLAYABLE. |

Little testing update:
Played at 8 AM on Milano Server. No Problems. Tracert the routing to instance server. Getting send over the australian hop (DDoS Protection) again but this time no latency. Seems that this is a capacity problem and for anyone that is "too" much during prime time we get huge stutters and lags since the DDoS Server can't handle those requests anymore. |

game freezing in game, UI still works able to quit and stuff, noticed network traffic just disappears 0ms?

i really had fun with the game going through the different acts, but now in the endgame starting waypoint maps, the lagspikes are making the game unplayable. I'm from EU and i tried it over several weeks with different server gateways and it's just horrible.. the MS jump up to 2000+, the game is freezing completely and after looking at a frozen picture for 30 seconds i'm just dead..
i tried different "fixes" from various youtube channels and shit, but nothing worked... and to be honest i see the same comments everywhere.. the hardware is good, internet connection stable, every other game works, FPS 170+ yadayada - it seems like it's a server issue on their end..? can anyone tell me if the issue has reached the developers at all and whether there are plans to expand the server capacity? at the moment i'm slowly losing interest and think i'll take a break for a while until this is resolved.. |

interestingly enough, I swapped out my gigabit connection at switch to a 100Mb one,
no issues since, I dont think its the switch as pretty much everything in house is plugged into it and they work fine. still testing, I'll reconnect to the 1Gig switch again, let you know. |

the problem is still exist. I am trying to play the game. But it is annoying.
We need a fix asap. |

I myself have been experiencing during the last couple of weeks spikes from my usual 20-30 ms up to most was like 10 000 ms, that was happening only in maps, now even in town after logging in, completely unplayable
