Path of Exile 2: Upcoming Changes and Improvements

Please keep in mind this is GGG, they listen to our feedback, they work hard, they deserve a good long break to bolster their workforce and deliver us a solid game. I'm sure we are all getting impatient, but look at things logically, the game was JUST released, its bound to have bugs, mechanical issues, and needs a dedicated and loyal fanbase to lift them up during this time, not shoot them down over the launch flaws.

You can bet that they will tackle the problems and the next few patches are going to drastically improve the game. They have done it before time and time again, and I trust in them to provide us with a tremendous level of quality we know they are capable of.

When GGG is good and ready, they will announce their list of upcoming changes, fixes, and game improvements. This is an important step in game development. We the players are flushing out a massive amount of playtime to critique the game, find bugs, note its shortcomings, and pinpoint things that the overall player base finds to not fit well with the game. GGG as a studio takes and gathers all this information, spreads it out to each department, and dev team lead, and as a whole, they collaborate to work together to basically write over existing features, or create entirely new ones. With POE2 being a new game, new mechanics, new employees, and GGG wanting it to feel unique, and NOT be a carbon copy of POE1, I feel like they are going to be much more strict in what they change and add.

All that being said, I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season, and a great new years. I hope 2025 is a fun and productive year for GGG and its players!

Stating that you have nearly 2 weeks played into a game that hasn't been released a full month yet is certainly a flex lmao.

Anyways, I am hoping rarity is dumpstered.

I hope ps5 users can use filters, and the optimization needs to be improved. The screen will be blurry under the influence of multiple skills and the refresh rate cannot keep up. In addition, I also hope that the game will have a plug-in equivalent to the PC version, which can instantly check market prices in ps5.

Where are the new announcements?
Will the craftig be fixed? or lets say it real will come crafting for ssf or avarage players?

It isnt just the lootfilter. Yes, they need to add them to consoles, but those loot explosions with thousands of shards and items are stupid. Yes, mostly the issue is Breach.

But what they really need to do: consolidate that mass into item quality. Like instead of 445 white/magic items, drop some Tier 5 items. And make Tier X items worthwhile by removing bad affixes from gear and make all affixes have a better range. What am i supposed to do with 7 life and 4 lightning res on a tier 6 item?

It's btw the same everywhere. Rituals selling crap, expedition generating crap, vendors selling crap, Essences being extremely rare and still veeeeeeery bad, Strongboxes not even showing anything above completion after lootfilter etc.

Going into trade and buying items is currently the only source for upgrades.

Fix the crash on loading area. My pc will die if i continue to try to play.

Can't pick up some things from guild stash. Glitchy.

Anyone seen where the lag is coming from? It's getting worse.

Also, Druid and Huntress haven't shown up on the character selector screen yet. Are they ok? Will they arrive at the game in time?
