Path of Exile 2: Upcoming Changes and Improvements

I've said it before and I say it again, I'm disappointed in the planned changes. They don't touch the strongest builds and they definitely don't help the weakest builds. They definitely aren't doing anything to make up for the builds they destroyed with the triggers. They even nerfed us further.

But If I'm trying to be positive, hey, at least I am happy I got the update I requested. Now I know where this is going.

Bad information is better than no information.
Infernalists should get way more nerfs, since all carries consist of infernalist only. That tells exactly how overpowered and overtuned they are compared to other classes. Also their skill requirement is basicly 0. No risk high reward.
Now over two threads with over 150 pages, one quickly approaching 200, of people consistently freezing their PCs on loading screens and no word or fix in sight beyond "we're investigating".

I'm not even going to be able to play over the holidays with this PC breaking bug still in place. Great game, such a disappointment I can't play without hard crashing my PC.

Heard they are lowering respec costs. Don't worry guys soon it will be free if you complain enough (it worked so far why would it stop) and it will be just like D3 and you can run every build in the game on your char. Me, i am considering quitting all together. Wish i never bought EA that way i wouldn't know what i was missing. To make it clear the "player choice" argument will come up again when pushing towards free respec. That argument is BS and D3 is a perfect example of this. I made the D3 comparison since it's the perfect example of how protecting people from bad choices is just as damaging as having no choice to begin with. If choices do not have consequences there is no player agency, just the illusion of choice. Maybe that is enough for the people that "just don't have the time" to build their own build, use their gold wisely, or choose their talents with care, but personally i wanted to get immersed in this game, and the illusion of choice just doesn't cut it for me. Just like the illusion of "surrounds are still possible" just doesn't cut it when i haven't gotten in a surround i couldn't dodgeroll my way out of since 1.0.1d, which just like this middle ground they are aiming for now, i called it in 1.0.1c and i cam calling the push for free respec here. Once you lose ground to these people you will NEVER be able to gain it back and the game hasn't even hit two week since it was released. Just spin the talent tree slot machine while you are copying build you see online until you land on smth completely broken doesn't do it for me, and am ashamed at the devs for caving in and abandoning their vision for this game to appease the unappeasable. They will complain as long as they can't endlessly respec, mark my words, you won't appease them and you are ruining the game for those that liked it for what it was, an arpg where choices mattered and you had to stay awake while playing it. can't express how disappoint i am, not that it would matter, in the end the squeaky wheel gets the grease. All i can do is step away for now and avoid more disappointment

Please let us change act rewards. Once you pick them you can make your character potentially weaker based on what you build later on. This is specially true for new players who don't know what they are doing... seem like an anti new players mechanic to leave it like that

I feel this is the wrong approach, If you want people to play other builds buff the weak abilities.
Unless it's actually overpowered compared to other classes, we don't have those numbers but just because people play a certain build doesn't mean it's overpowered, 30% nerf to spirit is harsh. Removing 4~ minions is too much of a nerf.

Have them meet at 34-35 instead if you have to do anything, that's the balanced thing to do.
Why the hell does GGG continue to nerf cold skills while the Warrior class can prema stun bosses? There are many classes/ascendancies that are absolutely destroying the game like minions, seismic cry warbringer, grenade witchhunter but GGG keeps going after a build that is barely performing and has weak support in the passive tree. Seriously confusing and seemingly points to GGG not actually knowing what is performing well and just knee jerk reacting to some random feedback... just wow on the cold nerfs..

Guess they won't be happy until no one is playing a cold build.
