Temporary fix for console trading errors
Firstly, I've been struggling with this problem for several days
The cause of this problem comes from transferring points and warehouse from poe1 account to poe2. Perhaps we are recognized as poe1 users on the server and are displayed as offline during global chats and trading. Now that we know the cause, we want to solve this problem temporarily. If you are an Xbox user, create an account within Microsoft using PoE2 as Home Sharing. For example, if the account is called alice, you can now start playing with that account and connect. Then, the invisible global chat will pop up like crazy and you will be able to confirm that you are checked on the server. However, this method is an account that does not contain my original warehouse or points. Of course, you will have to start the hellish leveling again. This method has been tested and validated. Due to an error linking POE1 users' accounts to POE2, we are currently playing the game in SSF mode. It is absurd that users have to find a temporary solution like this on their own while GGG leaves it alone without making any statement. Console users did not participate in Early Access to enjoy a game that does not have item filters or trading. GGG has already explained the console-friendly policy for POE2 several times. But so far the results are that they don't seem to care much about us. okay I will conclude TWO lines. ---------------------------------- If you want to trade and chat globally, you can create a new account and start over. ---------------------------------------------- GGG, please fix this problem quickly, I’m exhausted. This is devastating. After days of struggle it turns out to be a problem I can't fix. I played POE1 on Xbox for the first time just before 2 came out, guess that's my mistake...
GGG need to say something about this. I assume all console players coming from the first game are encountering this problem? |

I've had the problem since launch. Even sent a email to support. No reply , they are not even acknowledging it on the forum yet. I think they are all on vacation spending the insane amount of money they just made. I did make a second toon account and did leveled it to 25. Made a guild were I have both the smurf and the main . I even had to spend money to buy stash tabs for the guild bank so I can use the smurf to buy gear and then tunnel it to my main via the guild bank. After a couple of days of having to switch accounts multiple times to trade I simply gave up and made a new toon on that account and just recently made it back to mapping. Obviously I did have to splash out on that account to get the bank tabs and such... :( but it's okay because I am now interacting with the community which is simply just massive. Seeing the global and trade chat packed plus having people send you buy whispers really brings life to the game and makes it so much more enjoyable and fun.
