" Yep, that's the RIP OFF that GGG did when they decided to change buying a standard stash tab from ADDED to CONVERTED (converts a remove-only tab to a regular tab). I complained loud and long that GGG was cheating us, but I knew that I was wasting my verbage because from a financial perspective GGG knows we will need to buy more tabs just to get enough empty ones that we need. When the quad stash tabs were added and GGG explained there was no way they could take 4 remove-only tabs and convert them into 1 full use quad-tab it was a "YES" moment for me. Now I only buy quad stash tabs (on the super stash tab sale of course) so that I am guaranteed that it will be added and 100% empty. It all goes way, way back to a question asked about what the GGG official policy was about players keeping challenge league items long term (as remove-only standard league tabs). Chris answered stating that GGG has no problem with players keeping their gear long term. Great, so just before the end of each challenge league I vendor off all the items that are of no value to me in standard league, take what's left, and consolidate them down to as few of tabs as possible. Then there are fewer stash tabs that end-up as remove-only tabs after the challenge league stash migration to standard league. But now all the many remove-only tabs I have (Chris is on record that it's ok to hoard items if you want) in standard leagues are mostly full and as I accumulate more every 3 months (over time my desire to keep items goes down) the odds are high that if I were to buy a premium six pack bundle of tabs that the remove-only tabs that get "converted" would be one of the mostly or completely full tabs of gear from a previous challenge league, thus robbing me of a 100% empty new tab. So now the only way to guarantee I get an empty tab is to buy quad stash tabs. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.
