[POE 2] Summon raging spirits makes the game very laggy

I'm playing on witch. I'm using a build with fireball multiple projectiles (with unleash + scattershot + wildshards support gems)

after the recent patch, whenever I enable SRS, the game becomes very laggy when wildshards gets triggered. I think it's because I get too many raging spirits being summoned at once, and due to them being limited to 5, they all die and respawn instantly resulting in having too many raging spirits on the screen at once. I died multiple times due to this issue because the game ends up freezing and then the mobs accelerate towards me without me being able to do anything. the pause feature does not even work during this issue. I tried the lowest graphic setting, but I don't think that this was the issue here because it kept happening.

My suggestion: make the limit to summoning raging spirits to 5 per one skill use instead of 1 per projectile. you already limited it to 5 per spell, but the die and respawn repeatedly with fire projectile builds. make it so when they reach the limit, which is 10 at the moment, you cant summon them until one of them dies.

same problem and biggest indoor when fireballs bounce off walls, this is very CPU intensive, i disabled them, unusable in current state :(( my pc: r7 5700x / RX6800

Same here, the moment I started using the minion and wildshard the game is unplayable... R5600X+1660S

Similar issue with mine too! When wildshards procs, it slows down the game because of repeated summoning and dying of those raging spirits.
Also laggy with Fireball, both together it's actually a nightmare.
The bug seems to happen with Fireball + Scattershot as all of you are stating.
As soon as the fireball starts to multiply the game becomes laggy af nearly unplayable.
This does happen not only for the one using the spell but for all the members in the party.
If you add "Raging Spirits" to that combo, then the game is completely unplayable because of the constant freezing.
Just wanted to add this comment since the issue might not only be with "Raging Spirits" but some other factors.
