TUNE DOWN THE COST FOR RESPEC!!!!
" The moment you start throwing made up percentages in your reply to try and make your opinion/stance on a subject seem more important than it is, you lose all credibility. There is *still* likely over a million players playing this game right now...you're gonna tell me you know that more than 900,000 of those feel the same way you do? Based on what? Forums posts? You mean the very same posts where the same small group of players are complaining repeatedly? "look guys, this post has 5000 responses on the subject, this means 90% of the payers agree with me!" No, that means a small subset of players, instead of playing the game, are spending their time on the forums, trying to recruit others into their opinion, by cycling through a list of about 5 different phrases that try to prove your opinion is better than everyone else. I would wager...if we are throwing made up percentages out there....the total people who don't like the respec cost enough for it to actually matter in their decision to play the game is MUCH closer to <1% of the players. i.e. the minority Last edited by NaughtyExile#5932 on Dec 13, 2024, 5:07:01 AM

" Please dude, you are level 48 and talking about respec, lets talk about that when u reach tier 6-7 and 75+ |

Respecs should be free while everything is so chaotic.
Respec costs can and should be part of a later test phase, once things have settled down. |

" I 100% Agree... I also don't have endless free time... I just want to enjoy the game and thinker with the builds. |

After EA, respec should definitely cost something. And not just a little bit, but enough to make the player really carefully think about it. Because the game has many different bosses with different weaknesses/strength. If I can just respec for free, I can always get the best passives/ascendencies for specific bossfights.
THAT SAID, I still think it should be free during EA. This is a time where people MUST be able to experiment to their hearts content. Let players break the game and let them try the most ridiculous builds they can think of. That's how it should be. EA is not about a perfectly balanced game experience for the player. It's about giving feedback about the game and the devs should give us all possibilities to try things out. Respec is just one of those things. Balance around gold can come later. |

How are we supposed to test stuff, if we can't afford to test stuff?

This happen as well in Diablo four it was one of the most dumbest mistakes they did to have a high respect cost
A lot of players who played this Types of games want to be able to have fun trying different specs and try to do what the character can is the big part of the gameplay if you hadn’t had this in your game then people will just like stop playing the game after the campaign So now you have to make people grind in more to get to a simple respect the game is supposed to be fun and enjoying no one thinks it is fun or enjoying when you have to use ours just to get one simple respect, and this is why Diablo had to backtrack the respect cost so people could enjoy the game and have fun with different builds Some players are only playing games for like having to respect and try different things out and you’re taking that away from them again then you lose players this is common sense and I have no idea why you couldn’t see this coming |
