CPU/GPU are getting fried. Cant play the game.
I overclock my CPU on the boxed air cooler and it also runs at 83 in PoE 2... Your system sucks nearly as much as your manners.

Water cooled doesn't mean better than a proper tower blower, and 83C is not the end of the world, depending on a model even 100C was ok (old GTX I think 480 etc). My undusted for years GPU isn't even too loud in PoE 2.

You do realize having it water cooled and with liquid metal explain absolutely nothing right? What's your cpu, gpu and mobo? Are you sure you or whoever built your pc did so properly? It could be literally anything. As for the games you mentioned, LA (Lost Ark?) and warzone arent even demanding games lmao. Both can run on a 1660ti and reach over 100fps. I haven't had a single issue with the game's performance since launch day.
Your logic that "because other games play fine its not my pc" makes me assume you dont know much if at all. Like others have said, learn how to test properly and if youre not confident take it to a professional. Stop being so salty when others give you advice like a 10yo. |

" you really expect a normal user to de-lid their cpu and direct cool the thing using a custom loop on a 420 rad with kryonaut thermal paste?? |
|
83c is totally normal for max usage. These temps are not frying anything.
If you really want to reduce your temps you need to do a voltage offset in bios, but its totally unnecessary with these low of temps. Last edited by Nosfe_hc#6564 on Dec 13, 2024, 10:07:41 PM

" No but the person i quoted said they were using direct die cooling with liquid metal. Keep your large nose out if you can't be bothered to get the context. " I mean, i was a bit of a dick about it but said the same thing and just got screeching in return. It's just a fundamental lack of understanding from people. GGG are going to investigate this and be stumped because it's just their engine using the CPU cycles like it's meant to. This post was sponsored by me.
